I can not wait for this truely under appreciated season to be out on DVD next week. I am so dying to see all these episodes. My plan is to pick it up right after school and order a pizza and just veg out in front of the TV all night long with "my friends"! LOL! I am most looking forward to the Lottery, the one where no one proposes, shark porn, blind dates, mugging, barbados, pediatrician, emma cries... I just love this season! Friends rocks and I am counting down the minutes until this DVD is released!

I ordered it from amazon.co.uk a few months ago, its really worth it!

You know, I think season 9 is pretty weak overall, but individually, the episodes don't seem that bad. I don't know why that is, but looking at slackermonkey's list hammers that home. I guess because I don't feel like anything got resolved (except for the Joey/Rachel story which was horrible in that season, but great in season 8), I don't like it overall.

Anyway, not the point of this thread, I know.

I really liked the opening two or three episodes, even though I know they aren't generally well-received. The finale was pretty great as well, especially Joey wanting to dig his hole (that scene makes the episode for me) and some great David lines before they wrote him off--the scene with him and Chandler always has me in stitches.

The best, though, for me, goes to TOW Rachel's Other sister. Amy was an unbelievable character and Applegate is such a great sitcom actress. Wonderful stuff. Reese Witherspoon should feel bad after seeing that.

Yeah, for me the best of the season is definitely "The One With Rachel's Other Sister." I love Amy so much I wish Rachel only had one sister so Amy could have appeared in season 6 instead of Jill, in addition to her season 9 and 10 appearances.

Season 9 is one of my favorite seasons actually. It is a silly season (Dr. Weiner, Shark Porn, etc.) but that is what I love about Friends!

I can't wait to hear Monica scream "Forget the bubble wrap, there isn't time!" in TOW Rachel's Other Sister. I love that line!

I love this season! If someone put a gun to my head and told me to name my favorite season of Friends, season nine would be my answer. I have not laughed so hard in a long time. Every single episode has been great. Especially the one with Phoebe's Birthday Dinner.

A couple of comments:
- Ross has got to be the least likeable character on Friends. He gets mad at Joey for the proposal misunderstanding for no good reason. And then he fires Sandy because he is uncomfortable with a Male Nanny? I can't stand Ross!
- I really love Mike! I never saw his first few episodes until now but now that I have seen his storyline from the beginning I am so glad Pheebs married him. He is a great addition to the cast. His jokes are LOL.
- I love when Joey calls the waiter "Bitch", And then the waiter calls him a bitch right back during Phoebe's birthday dinner.

I just got through with disc one and will start disc two tomorrow! Yippee!!! I love Friends!

I don't know when Season 10 is coming out, I haven't heard anything about it. I'm pretty sure, like Tiff7 said, it will come out in a few months.

I still haven't gotten it. I'm watching the episodes for the first time and I just finished season eight. I went out to buy it a week ago but it was either too expensive or wasn't there. I hope I can get it soon.
