Hmmm...I'm not sure they did. I thought he started dating Tracy Pollan when she was on the show, or immediately after she left, which was before Courteney Cox came on. Unless he dated her before she was on the show.

He did date Nancy McKeon from "Facts of Life" for awhile, and they're still supposedly very good friends.

Michael and Courteney never dated. He was in love with Tracy Pollan during the time Courteney was on "Family Ties".
