Murder attempt in Montreal Metro

MONTREAL (PC) -- A man in his twenties has been hospitstalized after being the victim of a murder attempt around 10 p.m. Tuesday night in a Metro car that was heading to the Henri-Bourassa station in north Montreal.
Montreal police are looking for thee suspects. Three black men stabbed the victim several times in the upper body before running off.
Police are also looking for witnesses.
The victim of the attack is in stable condition and will remain in the hospital for observation.

Bandits invade home in Cartierville

Another home invasion was reported in Montreal Tuesday night, this time in the borough of Bordeaux-Cartierville in the north of the city.
At about 9:30 p.m., three men broke into an apartment in a six-storey building. Two women, one aged 40 and the other 63, were in the apartment at the time. The two women were struck in the face by the bandits.
Police were not able to get a good description of the invaders, since witnesses only saw them from far as the trio fled the building.
The men had left by the time police responded to 911 calls made by neighbours who heard screams from the apartment. It's not known if the men stole anything.
The two victims were treated for serious injuries, but their lives are not in danger. Both women are in a state of shock and were unable to tell police what happened.
