RAPPER"S ASSOCIATE SHOT IN MANHATTAN RADIO STATION
A member of the 50 Cent's entourage was shot in the lobby of the radio station Hot 97 while the rapper was on the air Monday, sources tell NY1.
Kevin Reed of Los Angeles was shot in the leg at the hip-hop station, in Greenwich Village. He was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital, where he's listed in stable condition.
Police are still searching for the shotter. The motive is unclear.
The shooting occurred as 50 Cent was announcing he was dropping his protege, "The Game", from his crew for being disloyal.
