I have been a wannabe TV writer for a long time, and I can honestly say that Gilmore Girls is one of the best written shows on TV right now. Such a great cast, such great chemistry, you don't see this kind of a show nowadays.

I would think that if there are DVD websites based in the UK, you shouldn't have a problem obtaining GG on DVD.

Hmm... I'm having some problems. The website I'm using to send the file says that it could take 1 to 5 minutes to send one megabyte, and the file is 242 megabytes. It'll take awhile to send at that rate. I'm not sure if there is some other way that I could send it to you that would be quicker.

evidently it didn't send the whole file b/c it told me the file was corrupt... where do you get the files at and i'll just see if i can get them for myself.

I had the same problem. It has something to do with codecs.

I got help from Roby (robyrob)... try downloading that codec pack.

hadn't ran into any problems except for the whole not connecting to hosts thing... i've got 3 episodes downloaded so far ( :woohoo: ). Seems to take a while, but it sure is worth it! :lol:

It takes me a long time to watch one-hour shows. I LOVE the TV show Hunter, and when the Hunter season 2 DVD came out in July, I got it and it took me two weeks to watch the whole set. :lol:

I don't even have $100 to spare! :lol: Well, it's not my birthday....YET. :lol: but it looks like I'll be able to pick up Gilmore Girls S1 VERY soon and next month when S4 comes out, I'll get S2 instead. Perhaps S3 in October, if things work out. And then S3 and/or S4 for Christmas.

Look at my DVD collection -- I have over 100 titles! The stupid site doesn't count titles from Columbia House and Discovery, so I actually have 23 titles not listed, as DVD Aficionado doesn't have a listing for those titles.

yeahhh i finally got my gilmore girls dvd's! they came yesterday and i managed to restrict my viewing to three episodes even though it was extremely hard. it should take me a while to get through all three seasons hopefully then ill have to watch them over again. Im sad....but happy!!!!!!!!!

I went on a mini-vacation over Labor Day weekend, so you had better believe I got a LOT of Gilmore Girls watching done. :D I finished the first 3 discs of GG S1 and now have 3 more to watch.
