TVFactFan 02-28-2005, 09:55 PM did any of u guys watch this show when it was on (91-98). i started to watch it last summer. Yes I watched the show when it first premiered on ABC in 1991. I was 16 when it made it debut on ABC. I also saw the Original Airing of Steve Urkel making a Guest Apperance on Step by Step Karen* 03-01-2005, 02:47 AM I think I saw parts of it when it first came out (I was three when it premiered), but all I remembered was that Suzanne Somers was in it and one of the character's names was Karen. Yet I think I remembered the show enough to relive it since last year. Or to actually watch the show. :p Cliff Barnes 03-01-2005, 04:08 PM I was 6 when it came on and grew up as it aired, but for some reason I didn't think it would be any good, though I watched Boy Meets World and Family Matters. I knew it had Patrick Duffy and Suzanne Sommers, and I sort of knew Staci Keanan, but it just looked to cheesy and no good. Strangely enough then, it was those reasons that made me tune in last year in reruns and enjoy that cheesiness to the extreme, and even to watch Dallas I became such a fan of Duffy. So yes, all good things will eventually come around I believe. AnneJaye 03-29-2005, 02:45 AM I remember watching the TGIF lineup when it was Full House, Family Matters and Step by Step. I know I watched it, but the only thing I remembered is that I liked it, and that's why I started watching the reruns on ABC Family. I think I quit watching the original run somewhere in season 4, because I didn't remember Rich or Jean-Luc at all. peta303 03-29-2005, 02:51 PM Here (Czech Republic) it premiered when I was ten (in 1993) so I was growing up with Mark and Al. But I knew only about 20 episodes from the first run. I finally have seen all 160 epizodes after I had recorded (during '2002 and '2004 rerun) or got them recorded in other way...but it took a long time - until this february. Thus the lineup was Family Matters at 8 PM, and then Step By Step at 8:30. Ben F. Schumin :-) DukeDevils9192 04-04-2005, 10:28 AM Yep, I was a big TGIF fan back in the day. When I started watching it on ABC Family about two years ago, it was a really nice reminder of my youth. I could remember scenes before they happened, stuff from when I was five or six years old. It was really cool. danee 04-04-2005, 02:22 PM did any of u guys watch this show when it was on (91-98). i started to watch it last summer. No I didn't watch SBS from the start. I think I started to watch any time between. But I really can not remember when. And then I watched the Re-runs. The Sitcom started, when I was about 6 years old and I didn't watch Sitcoms in this age. hahaha TVFactFan 04-04-2005, 06:55 PM I can still remember the opening theme for TGIF in 1991 before all the shows started. It was-"It's Friday Night and the Mood is Right"-lol Karen* 04-05-2005, 12:35 AM Yep, I was a big TGIF fan back in the day. It was really cool. Are you serious? The only thing I remembered from when I was five or six years old when the show was on was the opening credits! Karen* 04-05-2005, 12:36 AM I can still remember the opening theme for TGIF in 1991 before all the shows started. It was-"It's Friday Night and the Mood is Right"-lol LOL, I think I remember that too! I know this is sort of off-topic, but does anyone have a picture of the TGIF logo? Storywriter 04-05-2005, 01:25 AM Yeah i watched it when it originally aired.I was 12 going on 13 when it aired and I was out of High School a year when it ended.Mel  James 04-09-2005, 05:00 PM did any of u guys watch this show when it was on (91-98). i started to watch it last summer. Yes, I saw the show during its original run. I believe I got into it because it was on the same night as Perfect Strangers (on which, oddly enough, one of the main actors--Bronson Pinchot--starred as Jean-Luc for about a year on SBS; it was like watching PS all over again :D), which was part of TGIF on ABC. Really? I thought Perfect Strangers had already ended when Step by Step first premiered, or at least was close to ending. James 04-09-2005, 05:27 PM Really? I thought Perfect Strangers had already ended when Step by Step first premiered, or at least was close to ending. Perfect Strangers ended in 1993. (Actually, six episodes aired in the summer of 1993 to provide closure to the series after the 1991-92 season.) SBS began in 1991, when PS was still part of TGIF. spunkygirl 04-09-2005, 06:00 PM Yep I watched it from the debut until it ended :) D.J. 12-01-2005, 07:02 PM I was 3 when it started and 10 when it ended. I do remember watching it every Friday night. From March of 1994-May of 1994, all I watched on TV was Step by Step and the Rangers run to the Stanley Cup. hch 12-02-2005, 07:18 PM I was a big TGIF fan since 1990. I was 10 when SBS premiered (1991). The opening sequence really got me hooked. From the drive into Port Washington to the big roller coaster drop, I never let go until it ended in 1998 (I was 17). I thought it was a real coup to see Steve Urkel on SBS that year. I remember when the TGIF stars used to do a Saturday morning round-up, which displayed previews of the new Saturday morning cartoons. talk about memories! I was 16 when I watched the Original Airing of Urkel landing in the Lamberts backyard. I don't think I saw a promo for his apperance on SBSand was very confused to see him land in the Lamberts backyard. snl 70s show fan 12-03-2005, 12:10 AM yes i watched it when it was on tgif i remember my nephew had a huge crush on angela watson Storywriter 12-03-2005, 12:19 AM did any of u guys watch this show when it was on (91-98). i started to watch it last summer.Yeah i did watch it from 1991-I think 1996 because i didn't know it moved to CBS around late 96 early 97 maybe 98.I was 12 when it first aired in 1991.:) TVFactFan 12-03-2005, 12:24 AM When I first heard the opening credits to SBS I was hooked right away.
