It would have been a treat to see him guest star. He was one of the writers for a while. I can't remember those words he said at the Hollywood Bowl.

Somewhere or another, I've seen an episode by episode listing of S&S writers. If I recall correctly, Richard Pryor was listed as the principal writer on only a small handful. Three or four seems to ring a bell.

Richard Pryor was very much a rising star during the early to mid 1970s. I think we'd see that the episodes he wrote were fairly early in the run. By 1975 (or was it '76?), when his breakthrough LP "That N......'s Crazy" was released, he was world famous, and I'd be surprised if he wrote for S&S.
