I know, The Nanny has yet to be officially released on DVD.
In the meantime I am trying to satisfy my Nanny cravings by collecting the episodes from "taped" tv airings. The show is SO hilarious and I have given up waiting for an official release...when one does come out I will certainly be one of the fans purchasing the set, but in the meantime....
I am trying to find the following Nanny episodes preferably uncut from original airings:
2:21 Close Shave
2:26 Fran Gets Mugged
4:11 Hurricane Fran
4:13 Kissing Cousins
4:17 Sampson He Denied Her
4:18 The Facts Of Lice
4:22 No Muse Is Good Muse
5:9 Educating Fran
5:17 Homie Work
5:19 Immaculate Concepcion
5:21 Best Man
6:1 Honeymoon's Overboard
6:10 The Hanukkah Story
6:16 The Producers
6:19 Maggie's Wedding
These are actual episodes that I have as yet never seen before from the series,(I missed watching them even in syndication) so if any other fans out there can help me in my search I would be very appreciative.I should note that these episodes would be for my own personal home viewing and for nothing else as I know there are people out on ebay selling episodes from this series. I would also be willing to trade for these episodes as well. Hopefully some one can help me. I know the "Close Shave" episode is suppose to be one of the funniest in the series and I would love to watch the whole episode along with the others listed above. The exciting part is that for me they will be like " brand new" episodes.I know it is a long shot but I am hoping some fan out there has copies of these episodes.

I know you said you're looking for original airings, but if you get Lifetime, you should be able to at least see syndicated versions of those episodes. And yes, "Close Shave" is certainly one of the funniest, right up there with "The Pen Pal" (Didn't look to see if that was on your list).

Thanks for your advice...unfortunately I do not get the Lifetime network where I live and The Nanny has not been shown in syndication here now for several years. The last channel that aired it that I received was KTLA. I have seen "Pen Pal" and it is another hilarious episode. I'm still hoping someone has these episodes...I guess even syndicated copies would be better than nothing at all. Thanks again.

Well, in that case, have you been to the Really Unofficial Nanny Homepage (RUNHP)? I think the owner, Barb, has original airings, and she does make copies for people. The link is: http://home.frognet.net/~ritchie/nanny.htm
