Do I have the configuration of the main floor of the house on Maple Drive correct?
As one enters the house through the front door the living room is on the left and the kitchen is on the right.
The living room runs the length of the house - that is, the front wall faces the street and the back wall faces the back yard. There are doors at the back of the living room that open onto a patio in the back yard.
The kitchen is entered from the front entry through a swinging door. Once in the kitchen, we see a door across the room facing the swinging door. This door leads outside to the side yard, garage, and driveway. The kitchen has one wall with a window that faces the street. This window is near the table and the Cleavers should be able to look out on the street as they have breakfast or lunch.
As one enters the kitchen through the swinging door, there is a door on the left wall that leads to the dining room. The dining room is at the back of the house. There is another door in the kitchen (next to the refrigerator) that leads to the basement.
Question: Is there a door that leads from the dining room to the living room? I don't recall one. This door should open into that little section of the living room that is separated from the rest of the living room by the bookcases and columns that form a room divider.
Are there any other rooms on the main floor? Is there a closet in the front entry?
