I'm so happy because today I got a call from the Milwaukee Brewers and they offered me a job on the Events Staff, which would be ushering and ticket taking for the games. :) I applied and had an interview at the end of January, so I've been anxiously waiting for the past month to hear back.

I start my training and oriention on March 21st and then opening game day is April 1st. My friend got a job there too, but she'll be on the Brew Crew which is doing promotional stuff, like being a Racing Sausage! LOL

I'm so relieved, because I've been looking for a job for 3 months or so and now I don't have to look any more.

Congrats! I worked at the old County Stadium for a very short period of time. Seeing the kids all exicted about the game is fun, the drunks on the other hand - not so fun. But that place was a dump compared to Milller Park.

that's cool. I used to go to a lot of games at County Stadium when I was little. But you're right that place is a dump compared to Miller Park!

I'm not looking forward to the crazy drunks though because as an usher it's my job to calm them down if they get too rowdy!

don't cry! You just have to keep looking. I'm sure you'll find a job eventually. The main thing to find a job is you have to look. I know that's a pain in the butt but unfortunately jobs just don't fall right into your lap! I wish they did.

I got more information today and I will be official working for the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club (the "Club") for Event Services (not Staff like i thought), opening day is April 11th, NOT the 1st like I thought.

And..... I won't just be working at Brewers games but OTHER entertainment events at Miller Park! YAY!
