I am watching it now on NAN and they were showing later episodes when Mallory's hair is shorter and the dad has a beard and she is dating some guy Nick. However now all of a sudden they are showing a really old one where the dad doesn't have a beard, etc. They credits are the ones where they show the parents as hippies first. I don't get it! I thought they were showing them in order, but I don't think they are now? Does anybody know in which order they are showing them?

First of all, this is a marathon, Nick at Nite is airing a wide variety of episodes from all 7 seasons. In this Nick at Nite marathon, there doesn't have to be an order to the episodes. When Family Ties joins the regular schedule next week, the episodes will be shown in production order (the order they were made).

Ummm no it doesn't have to be in order but it seems like most marathons are in order. Most of the time they show the ones they are showing in order of when they are aired it just makes more sense to me. I mean wouldn't it be kinda dumb if they showed the last episode and then they show the first one and then they showed randome episodes? It just seems like there should be some order to me.

The airing of that episode with Mallory and her French tutor must have been a last minute change or just a mistake, it wasn't on the schedule. I think they were going to show the one where Alex plays chess with a Russian guy.
