My brother has, and I think they are the stupidest things ever. I think its alot easier to buy singles and albums from stores. What do you think think of them?

I guess, but with my brother, he's putting songs on there that he hasn't listened to in years...he put a Britney Spears album onto it and he doesn't even like her :lol: He's just trying to get more songs than his friends

I have seriously been considering getting one with my tax return. I have an old clunky MP3 player thats about 4 years old, its not near as small as the ipod. Much easier to carry 1000 songs on something that small than to carry 100 CDs.

I have an iPod mini and I love it. It makes my travelling to and from work much easier. Highly recommended.

about a week ago my dad gave us all one of those iPod shuffles (the one that holds 240 songs) , i would have rather had the mini or regular one because i am selfish. when i heard he bought us one i kept saying it must just be for my brother because nobody EVER buys me anything. but w/e, it's cool i put all of avril's songs on it and a whole bunch of live songs. nuthing else rofl. its cool its like wearing a necklace n u get cd quality from it, its amazing n it doesnt even skip.

so many ppl got them for christmas and i felt left out in the cold. now all he needs to do is buy me the mini, i think im gonna call him and pretend to be nice to him and give a crap about him so he'll buy me more stuff.

I love mine. I have the mini, and I just recently came on vacation with it. It's so much easier to carry that than a CD player, plus a bunch of CD's.

I just got an iPod for my birthday, and I love it. It's so much more convenient than carrying CDs around everywhere. It's space-efficient, and I love how you can listen to your songs in a variety of different playlists.

I have a Dell DJ I'll always buy Dell over anything else. It holds more songs I've had it for over a year and I'm not even close to filling it up. It holds about 9,000 songs I probably have 200 LOL

I just find it more simple to record all songs onto a tape. But then again there is probably more room on an Ipod but I'd rather save my money.

I LOVE my iPod, it goes with me wherever I go. I even use it to record my class lectures. It's easily the greatest invention of the 21st century.

Last night, one of my favorite local establishments had "iPod Wednesday," where patrons compose playlists (10 song maximum) and your iPod is played over the sound system. I never realized until last night how many people I know have one. We had a good time comparing lists and iPod anecdotes.

1. iPod's don't play WMA's, but they can be converted to AAC if they are unprotected.

they dropped the price?!?! Ahh! I bought my pink mini over a year ago when they were first introduced and THAT one got static so I had to get a new one under the warranty!

Oh, well, my new one is fine and I still love it! If I would've waited a year I would've saved 50 bucks.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO DISCONNECT THE USB CORD FROM THE IPOD. I DONT KNOW HOW. IS IT STUCK IN IT? OR AM I TOO WEAK TO BE ABLE TO GET IT OUT. WHAT THE.... UGH, I WANNA BREAK IT SO BAD AND THEN SLIT MY WRISTS WITH THE PIECES.

I might save up for one....I'm a music fiend and whenever we go somewhere for a long duration in the car I have to carry around my cd suitcase with like 60 some cds....it would be so much easier to load them onto an ipod

I'll always be a CD girl. I mean all the money for the iPod, then unless I'm mistaken, you have to pay to download the songs? I just burn my CDs for free and I'm happy.

Or if you're like me and haven't yet upgraded past Windows ME (non-iTunes compatible), there's a program called ephpod that's good. That's what I use to upload mp3s from computer to iPod. I need my iPod like oxygen, I use it everyday. I'd call it perfect if the battery lasted longer.

Paying .99 cents for a song that I can download for free seems pretty pointless to me. Over time I'd probably end up paying thousands of dollars for the music alone.

If I had money I'd probably get one, but sadly I'm poor. I have an mp3 player but the buttons are screwed up. Anyways, I'm more concerned about getting a new CD player at the moment then getting an mp3 player.

Any Mp3 you have or rip off a CD will work in an ipod. So you don't necessarily have to buy the music for .99

Holy crap. I thought that you had to buy all the songs from Apple. Knowing that I'm going to reconsider getting an ipod. I need a new cd player/mp3 player anyways...
