Georgia's on my Mind 02-23-2005, 05:13 PM i want one, can you please buy me one theanswerman 02-23-2005, 05:15 PM they are good if you have a lot of songs on your computer and you don't want to burn them to discs. Michael [hXc] 02-23-2005, 05:16 PM i want one too x3 Taylor x3 02-23-2005, 05:19 PM I'd rather just buy all the CD's or burn them. Superstar 02-23-2005, 05:22 PM they are good if you have a lot of songs on your computer and you don't want to burn them to discs. I guess, but with my brother, he's putting songs on there that he hasn't listened to in years...he put a Britney Spears album onto it and he doesn't even like her  He's just trying to get more songs than his friends theshark8777 02-23-2005, 05:22 PM I have seriously been considering getting one with my tax return. I have an old clunky MP3 player thats about 4 years old, its not near as small as the ipod. Much easier to carry 1000 songs on something that small than to carry 100 CDs. TJL 02-23-2005, 05:28 PM I have an iPod mini and I love it. It makes my travelling to and from work much easier. Highly recommended. AllIWantIsYourClutch 02-23-2005, 05:33 PM I have an mp3 player that's exactly the same as an iPod, but it's not an iPod. I love it. theanswerman 02-23-2005, 05:42 PM I have an mp3 player that's exactly the same as an iPod, but it's not an iPod. I love it. is it made by dell? AllIWantIsYourClutch 02-23-2005, 05:57 PM Nope. Philips. Kristina 02-23-2005, 06:00 PM about a week ago my dad gave us all one of those iPod shuffles (the one that holds 240 songs) , i would have rather had the mini or regular one because i am selfish. when i heard he bought us one i kept saying it must just be for my brother because nobody EVER buys me anything. but w/e, it's cool i put all of avril's songs on it and a whole bunch of live songs. nuthing else rofl. its cool its like wearing a necklace n u get cd quality from it, its amazing n it doesnt even skip. so many ppl got them for christmas and i felt left out in the cold. now all he needs to do is buy me the mini, i think im gonna call him and pretend to be nice to him and give a crap about him so he'll buy me more stuff. Kazza 02-23-2005, 07:16 PM Is the Ipod like a modern walkman? *goes back to her prehistoric cage* -*Forever*- 02-23-2005, 07:38 PM I love mine. I have the mini, and I just recently came on vacation with it. It's so much easier to carry that than a CD player, plus a bunch of CD's. BlueEyes 02-23-2005, 08:34 PM I just got an iPod for my birthday, and I love it. It's so much more convenient than carrying CDs around everywhere. It's space-efficient, and I love how you can listen to your songs in a variety of different playlists. MandieR1980 02-23-2005, 09:06 PM I have a Dell DJ I'll always buy Dell over anything else. It holds more songs I've had it for over a year and I'm not even close to filling it up. It holds about 9,000 songs I probably have 200 LOL TheGreatPretender 02-23-2005, 09:31 PM I just find it more simple to record all songs onto a tape. But then again there is probably more room on an Ipod but I'd rather save my money. theshark8777 02-23-2005, 10:33 PM Good news for anyone looking to get an ipod mini, Apple just dropped the price to $199 for the 4GB model!!! dawsongirl 02-23-2005, 11:42 PM I'd rather just buy all the CD's or burn them. Me too. SBTB Geek 02-24-2005, 03:05 PM I LOVE my iPod, it goes with me wherever I go. I even use it to record my class lectures. It's easily the greatest invention of the 21st century. TJL 02-24-2005, 03:09 PM Last night, one of my favorite local establishments had "iPod Wednesday," where patrons compose playlists (10 song maximum) and your iPod is played over the sound system. I never realized until last night how many people I know have one. We had a good time comparing lists and iPod anecdotes. swedeace 02-24-2005, 11:34 PM I want an I-Pod so badly!!! The 40GB will be perfect for my MANY MP3s, WMAs, WAVs, etc!!! *dreams* SBTB Geek 02-25-2005, 02:47 AM I want an I-Pod so badly!!! The 40GB will be perfect for my MANY MP3s, WMAs, WAVs, etc!!! *dreams* 1. iPod's don't play WMA's, but they can be converted to AAC if they are unprotected. 2. There is no such thing as a 40GB anymore. :( Kristina 02-25-2005, 03:29 AM I'm gonna buy the mini now that it's on sale, the pink one. It's so cute and so much more convenient than having to hold a cd player and switch cd's and stuff. TheHappyBurgerMeister 02-25-2005, 04:10 AM Good news for anyone looking to get an ipod mini, Apple just dropped the price to $199 for the 4GB model!!! they dropped the price?!?! Ahh! I bought my pink mini over a year ago when they were first introduced and THAT one got static so I had to get a new one under the warranty! Oh, well, my new one is fine and I still love it! If I would've waited a year I would've saved 50 bucks. My brother is the only person i know with one  Kristina 02-25-2005, 07:47 PM i got the ipod mini. goddamn what a piece of crap. DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO DISCONNECT THE USB CORD FROM THE IPOD. I DONT KNOW HOW. IS IT STUCK IN IT? OR AM I TOO WEAK TO BE ABLE TO GET IT OUT. WHAT THE.... UGH, I WANNA BREAK IT SO BAD AND THEN SLIT MY WRISTS WITH THE PIECES. MissZero 02-25-2005, 08:29 PM I might save up for one....I'm a music fiend and whenever we go somewhere for a long duration in the car I have to carry around my cd suitcase with like 60 some cds....it would be so much easier to load them onto an ipod Do you need an Apple computer to own one? Kay Scarpetta 02-25-2005, 08:32 PM I'll always be a CD girl. I mean all the money for the iPod, then unless I'm mistaken, you have to pay to download the songs? I just burn my CDs for free and I'm happy. TJL 02-25-2005, 08:32 PM Do you need an Apple computer to own one? Nope. the iTunes software works off a PC. You'd be much happier carrying around an iPod instead of all your cds. TJL 02-25-2005, 08:34 PM i got the ipod mini. goddamn what a piece of crap. Don't break it. ;) theshark8777 02-25-2005, 08:59 PM And actually any MP3 or CD you have now will work on the ipod. ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 02-28-2005, 12:00 PM I bought a SanDisk 1024MB MP3 Player with FM Tuner on QVC.com the other day. *MIBabe03* 02-28-2005, 12:27 PM Nope. I don't really want one either. vashti1999 02-28-2005, 12:44 PM Nope. the iTunes software works off a PC. Or if you're like me and haven't yet upgraded past Windows ME (non-iTunes compatible), there's a program called ephpod that's good. That's what I use to upload mp3s from computer to iPod. I need my iPod like oxygen, I use it everyday. I'd call it perfect if the battery lasted longer. Ewan's My Man 02-28-2005, 01:20 PM I got an iPod for Christmas and I absolutely love it. It's so much easier than carrying around: tons of cd books, a cd players, and headphones, and having to pull all that out whenever i want to listen to a cd...iPods are heaven. MaydayMalonesGirl 02-28-2005, 04:09 PM I wanted an Ipod, but then I realized what a waste of money it would be to get one. The Ipod itself is like 200 dollars, then you have to pay .99 per song on top of that. Paying .99 cents for a song that I can download for free seems pretty pointless to me. Over time I'd probably end up paying thousands of dollars for the music alone. If I had money I'd probably get one, but sadly I'm poor. I have an mp3 player but the buttons are screwed up. Anyways, I'm more concerned about getting a new CD player at the moment then getting an mp3 player. CollegeDropout 02-28-2005, 04:27 PM I have a mini Ipod, I love it! Its very easy to use and handy, its better then using a cd player.. I download songs into limewire but save them in a seperate folddr and then put them into Itunes Superstar 02-28-2005, 04:43 PM I wanted an Ipod, but then I realized what a waste of money it would be to get one. You can download their program for free and you get any song you like for free as well I think. theshark8777 02-28-2005, 07:32 PM I thought that you had to pay for downloads too, but my brother went to some site called BearShare. Knowing that I'm going to reconsider getting an ipod. I need a new cd player/mp3 player anyways... Superstar 03-02-2005, 04:32 AM I'm almost certain that you don't. I'll ask my brother about it later theshark8777 03-02-2005, 07:29 AM I'm almost certain that you don't. I'll ask my brother about it later I know you don't. |
