I am doing a class project on whether tv leads society or reflects society.
So, did Who's the Boss show what society was like, or did it influence the way society became? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I think it showed what society was like. I mean, it showed the struggles of single parents, the back and forths in relationships, the values between best friends, and the togetherness of family. I don't think a television show could thrust those ideas upon a community and just "make it happen" so it has to be that someone saw these ideas and decided to write about them and what they would do to make them better.
