Josh Groban is 23, a young male singer. He sings powerful, touching songs that make hims seem older(good way). He's not like these other 20-something male singers who sing about sex mostly. His songs aren't POP or RAP/HIP-HOP either, like many singers in their 20's are. I was shocked to find out that he was born in 1981! When I hear his songs he sounds like a 30 or 40 year old man! :eek: ;) :crazy:

OMG Jenny, you are soooo right! He gets that sorta "breathless" thing going in some of his songs, and I just melt hee hee! But the power in his voice is thrilling too--I agree he sounds waaaay beyond his years!

Anyone see Josh on the Oscars last night? What didja think about them making "Believe" a duet with Beyonce? Nothing against her (except that I don't like how she presents herself as a good girl raised in a Christian home and then tends to perform wearing very little LOL!), but she had already sung 2 of the other nominated songs, for heaven's sake! She did a good job with them all, but I wonder if the producers were not trying a bit too hard to pull in those "straight black males" that Chris Rock said didn't watch the Oscars....

In spite of all that, I thought Josh looked fabulous and sounded great!
