I have to wear glasses for reading books that are in small print.

I wear contac lenses full time until I'm ready to go to bed and then I wear my glasses until the next morning when I put my lenses back on.

I dont wear either,but i have worn brown contact lenses before.My mum and I did it for a trick,cause she has brown eyes and i have blue,so we switched to fool people,:lol:

I wear glasses sometimes. I only need them for driving or like watching TV. Just for distances.

Glasses. I tried to get contacts last year, but my blinking reflexes are really bad. By the time I got the contacts in my eyes, my eyes would be so irritated that I'd have to take them out right away, lol.

BTW, when I got my contacts, the woman selling them was very...odd. She kept telling me about how contacts didn't bother her at all and she showed me how to put them in. When she put hers in, she started wincing and kept going OUCH IT STINGS SO BADLY!!!! Obviously that didn't exactly encourage me very much, lol.

I wear glasses, and prefer them to contacts because (1) I couldn't stand to stick contacts in my eyes and (2) contacts don't help to make me look smarter.

Neither, but I'm not the only member of my immediate family who's never had to wear glasses or contacts. I do however have the best vision and hearing, apparently.

I'm shocked at the number of people who have trouble touching their eyes. I mean, sure, I used to too, but it gets really easy after awhile.

And glasses make me look ugly.

Yeah, same here.

I got contacts lenses a few months ago, but I see better with glasses. Reading and looking at my computer screen is easier on my eyes with glasses too.

I probably should have skipped the contacts and just walked around without my glasses. It's just as blurry with the contacts.

Glasses most of the time now, sometimes I still wear my contacts. Bad allergies as I'm getting older which tend to make me have a lot of eye mucus, which settles on the contacts and makes my vision blurry ! Plus my eyes feel itchy and dry with the contacts in ! :(

But I really wish I could still wear my contacts full time , being that my eyes are pretty I am told . But I have two pairs of glasses that are cute so it's cool. I can see really well and my eyes are more comfortable without the contacts in !;)

I wear glasses for distance but I don't need them (yet) for reading. If the print is too tiny, I use a magnifier. I like medium-sized frames as anything too small feels too tight and anything too big feels like it's going to flop off my face.

I prefer contacts as glasses feel too heavy and restrictive. You can get the dailies or the three-month option, which works out cheaper.

Lol at seeing some of my old replies. This thread is as dated as 90's sitcoms. I'm now going 9+ years strong with LASIK.
