yes, other names for me were "Danny" and "Kieron", I prefer Peter though

well, my dad wanted to name me Joseph, my mom wanted to name me Evan. my dad didn't like the name Evan so he suggested i would be named after him. so my mom decided on the name Michael, and Joseph is my middle name. i would have preferred Michael Evan, but at least i wasn't named after anyone.

My mom wanted to name me Jenna (which is a hell of a lot better than Amy) but she thought it would be too similar to my cousin Jenny's name. If I was a boy, I would've been named Seth.

My mom had three girls names picked out. Kristin, Kirsten and Maryette. She decided on Kristin. I'm happy with it.

I was about to be named either John or Christian... but they decided on David. Hmm.

I don't know if other names were considered for me at birth but I do like my name (Diane). There were times when I wished I had another name for no particular reason.

My mother decided on Janice because I was born in January. Seems a little silly to me, but I like my name.

the oldest son on my dad's side of the family has always been named William, but mom didn't like it - she wanted Russell - so they compromised, I guess.

oh and "rob" is NOT short for "Robert" in my case.

Well, my mom wanted to name me Keifer because of Keifer Southerland. She also suggested Dylan, because of Dylan McDermott. They finally made a settlement.

No, but my mother liked him as a comedian.

My dad had his mind made up about my name long before my birth. He said that 'Karen' would be perfect in case I ever moved to America(I was born in Puerto Rico and most names are in Spanish) that I had an English name that no one would have trouble with pronouncing.

Well, they only thought of Michelle after I was born.

my mother was going to name me stephanie but thought kristina wasn't that common and sounded pretty, i hate it. it is pretty common now 2. i wish she would have just named me suga instead. or something cute. like cupcake. i mean i named 1 of my kitties cookie bcuz i didnt want her to go through life with a gay name like betty or sumfin. but w/e.

i like your name. it looks better spelled as Kristina rather than Christina.

at least betty is better than all these more gay names like karissa and chantel. ew :lol:

I was almost 'Elizabeth', which I like, because people could have called me 'Beth' for short. My grandmother wanted to name me 'Maura', but my parents hated that name. So I got stuck with Karly.

Once I was born, my mom actually wanted to name me Maria Christina :eek: but luckily my dad didn't like it and suggested Kristina Marie instead. They changed the spelling of Christina because they thought they were original. Well obviously thats not true. :D
