(The scene ends with Anna and Matt looking sad. It’s now the next day in school. We now see Madison Middle School. Mike is crying)
Matt: What’s wrong Mike?

(They stare at each other)
Mike: Hey Matt! What’s up?

Matt: Sorry about last night

(A boy comes walking in the school. Anna goes up to him and they walk down the hallway holding hands while Matt is standing alone, looking surprised)
Mike: What’s wrong?
Matt: I….I…
Mike: You…You….

Mike: HI! HI!
Matt: Who…is…that….kid?
(Elizabeth comes by)
Elizabeth: According to the copy of the yearbook I have in my locker, he’s Josh Sterns. An 8th grader. He’s 14.
Matt: 14?!?!?!
Mike: AHHH! THE WORLD IS ENDING!…since the world is ending can I have yogurt?
Matt: That…dirty…rascal
Mike: GIVE ME YOGURT RIGHT NOW!
(It’s lunchtime)
Matt: Yuck. The “perfect couple” is sitting together.
(Matt looks down at his bag of chips)
Matt: This is when my chip-flinging abilities come into handy. Target: Josh Sterns
(Matt takes the chip and flings it across the room, but it lands on the janitor’s head instead of Josh’s)
Matt: Oops
Janitor Bill: STUPID KIDS!
(Over at Anna’s table)
Anna: You’re so hot
Josh: You’re so beautiful
Matt: (looking over at their table and hearing the conversation): I’m so gonna puke
Mike: I so want yogurt
Matt: WOULD YOU QUIT WITH THE YO..yogurt! I have it! Mike, take the yogurt, and put it on Josh’s head
Mike: Sure thing
(Mike gets a spoon, opens the yogurt, and pours it down Matt’s back)
Matt: MIKE! I said pour it on Josh’s head, not my back!
Mike: Oh! I thought you said that you liked cows
(It’s the next day. Matt spots Josh and Anna kissing on the way to the bus stop)
Matt: Going…to…barf…
(The kids are in Mr. K’s class)
Mr. K: So then the water evaporates…
Matt: YOU DID THIS TO ME! IT’S ALL YOUR FAULT!
(Mr. K dances while the class stares at both of them)
Matt: Sorry
Anna: (whispering): What was that for?
Matt: Shut up
Anna: You shut up
Matt: (shouting): NO YOU SHUT UP!
Matt: Sorry about that…
(The class stares)
(It’s lunchtime again)
Matt: This plan…will work! I’m going to spike Josh’s drink, with pepper!
(Matt goes up to Josh’s table when Anna is buying lunch and Josh is in the bathroom. He takes the pepper and puts in Josh’s coke bottle)
(Matt laughs)
(Josh comes back from the bathroom. Then Anna comes back from buying her lunch)
Janitor Bill: Boy, am I thirsty!
Josh: Oh, you want my coke?
Janitor Bill: Thank, you buy
(Janitor Bill sips it and coughs)
Janitor Bill: NASTY BOY
(He throws it out)
Matt: I’m a failure
("This Love" by Maroon 5 plays while me see Matt attempting to play pranks on Josh, but failing every time)
Mike: This deserves some emotional music. THE WHEELS ON THE BUS GO ROUND AND ROUND! ROUND AND ROUND! ROUND AND ROUND!

(It’s after school)
Anna: Hey look, it’s the audition sign up for this years play! It’s Romeo and Juliet, and there’s a kissing scene between Romeo and Juliet!
Josh: You sign up for Juliet, I’ll sign up for Romeo!
Anna: Great idea!
Matt: Nooo!
Mike (whispering): The wheels on the bus…
Matt: (screaming) SHUT UP!
(Everyone stares again)
Matt: Sorry!
Matt: They CANNOT get those parts
(It’s the auditons. Matt is up next)
Mrs. Brunson: That was beautiful, Josh! Next is Matt
Matt: OH JULIET! I LOVE YOU! I WANNA MARRY YOU!

Josh: Awesome! First practice is tomorrow!

(Matt is home)
Matt: I have the perfect idea!
(Jake and Chris come walking in)
Chris: I hate you! Get out of my life!

Chris: You stole the love of my life!

Chris: Mrs. Holl!
Jake: I got an A+ on the test! Plus, she’s old! She’s not the love of your life. You don’t even have her!

Matt (to himself): I need help too. I’ve been going crazy trying to split Anna and Josh up. I’ve gone nuts!
(Matt thinks)
Matt: Ah what the heck? Now back to my idea! I’ll need Mike
(It’s a few minutes later, Mike arrives with all of his yogurt)
Mike: Hi! Are we having a yogurt party?
Matt: No, we’re dumping it into a bucket and using it during the kissing scene at practice for the play tomorrow
Mike: I like cheese
Matt: Good for you
(It’s practice the next day. Matt has the bucket prepared and will pull the strings at the kissing scene so it will dump all over them. It’s the kissing scene when…)
Matt: Ready to rumble
(Matt pulls the strings and it dumps yogurt during on Josh and Anna while they are kissing)

Anna: This is gross! Who did this
(Anna hears Matt’s yeses)
