I just saw her on the Encore Mystery channel. The TV movie was 1988's "The People Across The Lake" A really cheesy movie starring Valerie Harper and Gerald McRaney as a family who buys a house on this lake in which dead bodies are being discovered. Dorothy only has a minor role within the first half hour as an owner of an ice cream shop. She was never seen again after this brief appearance. Seeing that it was 1988 she was still filming Mama's Family at this time. She looked kind of average without her "big hair"(wig) But it was fun to see her in another role . :lol:
