"Extreme Makeover," 5.1/8, gave ABC third in household ratings over "The O.C.," 5.0/8, on FOX, but the latter show led in total viewers (7.85 million to 7.06 million). "WWE Smackdown!" was fifth for UPN, ahead of The WB's broadcast of "She's All That."

I'm not surprised they didn't choose the woman who was singing all the time; she was annoying them.

I don't know why they chose the old man over Jonathan, a young, strong nice looking guy. I read his bio. Earlier in the year he was diagnosed with, but cured of cancer. What a letdown that he had to go home before he even started. :(
