Hello there, I recorded a Frasier show yesterday,
please listen to the audio file below:

The Audio File (MP2 Format) (http://140.117.150.100/~goldentime/ad.mp2)

English is not my native language, so I can't
completely follow what they are talking.

Could anyone tell me what's the misspelled word
in Niles' ad. on the newspaper? Is "Jung Expert"
the correct word, and the misspelled is "Hon
Expert"? It seems strange to name a psychiatrist
"Jung (Carl Jung?) Expert".

Hope someone can tell me!

I can't download sound files at work, but my guess is "hung expert" if I remember correctly.

Haven't seen that show in a bit, but hey, it's my best guess.

The dialogue seems to be the following:

Niles : "Remember the ad. I placed?"
Frasier : "Oh yeah, Niles Crane, Jung(??) expert, bla- bla- bla."
Niles : "They have made a tiny little title, see if you can find it."
Frasier : "Niles Crane, Hung(??) expert...Oh my..."
Niles : "The rest got perfectly: 'service individual, couples, groups, satifaction guarantee, tell me where it hurts.'"

If they are really "Jung expert" and "Hung expert", what are their meanings?

LOL, ok...here goes...

Carl Jung (pronounced yoo-ng) is a psychiatrist like Sigmund Freud, so Niles is a Jung expert...and thats what he wanted the ad to say.

But they made a misprint and called him a "Hung expert" which would be a play on words and a joke about...well the male anatomy comes to mind and the phrase "well-hung" as well.

LOL, hope that helped.
