I know the sales of the first wave of DVDs (UFOs, Ghosts, Miracles) are reported to be weak, which is why we might not see any more DVD sets in the future (unless some sort of miracle happens), but I'm curious to see how the hardcore U.M. fans on this board answer

I've bought them all. UFO's, Ghost's and Miracles were in store, The next recent three were bought online, cause i couldn't find them in store. Im glad i have purchased them all though, very pleased.

I have the "Ghosts" and the "Bizarre Murders."

If they were to come out with a "Missing Persons" set, I would buy that in a second.

I have them all except Miracles (Murders, Psychics, Legends are in the post still). Is Miracles worth buying? Oh and to those who have Legends, do we get the full Alcatraz special episode? I am praying we do

Miracles is pretty good. The Alcatraz segment runs for 28:33 mins.

I'm a true-crime enthusiast, so the Bizarre Murders one is the only one that appeals to me. I will be ordering it this week.

I didn't vote, so there must be at least two "bastards" on this board. :)

Truthfully, I probably won't buy any of the sets. Why? UFOs, Ghosts, and Miracles do not appeal to me. Most of the stories on the Bizarre Murders set are as lame as can be, and then there is the Legends set which has a few decent stories that are worth checking out. Oh yeah, I already have all of those on tape, unedited to boot. Bummer.

Maybe I'll bite if they release a "Bizarre Murders 2" with more stories from the '87-'93 period. Until then I'll pass. While I can not speak for the other person who does not plan to buy the sets, that is my two cents. Perhaps they, and others feel the same.

Ive bought all 6 of them and will buy every one they come out with. I love the show so much I want to make sure I have as many episodes as possible if heaven forbid they should ever stop showing it on TV. I also have several taped. I never get tired of them no matter how many times Ive seen them before!!

Most of the stories on the Bizarre Murders set are as lame as can be,

cindy james, zodiac/unibomber, monica rizzo, the uranium murder, laura bible etc

lame is the last word you should associate this dvd set with

I said most of the stories are lame, not all. The fact that they did not include so many far better stories from the '87-'93 period is the reason I will not be buying this set. Granted there are some cool stories on the set too. The boys on the tracks, the zodiac/unabomber, Cindy James, the Armbracheau (sp?) case to name a few. But, in my mind, the inclusion of a few good stories does not warrant coughing up the dough to buy the entire set when I could care less about the majority of other stories they are subjecting us to.

Again, this is my two cents.

I already own the UFOs, Psychics, and Bizarre Murders DVD Sets. I am now planning to buy the Strange Legends DVD Set because it actually has some pretty cool segments. My friend owns the Ghosts DVD Set, so I could just go over to his house to watch it. And as for the Miracles DVD Set, I'm not really that interested in buying it at all.

I own ghosts and ufos. I got 'em for Christmas. I do plan on buying the bizarre murders and legends for sure, even though I heard legends is missing many good ones. Miracles doesn't interest me that much, and I can't say much more for psychics. I've only seen a few episodes and they were decent, but didn't keep me intrigued or anything. I think I'll keep taping them on tv, though. It might be the only way to see some old fav's missing from the sets. I wouldn't mind a new UM show, just to profile some newer or undocumented cases. The new host could never replace Stack, but still, I want to see more stories.

I see that these box-set DVD's are now as low as $17 on ebay and DeepDiscountDVD.

I have a question...

Are the special features the same for all the box sets or are they all different? I don't know why but I didn't see much listen for the bizzar murders DVD.

Pretty Much. All the sets contain the audio commentaries. Ufos and Ghosts have a tribute to Robert Stack and a special behind the scenes of a solved case as well as introductions from the creators. However the rest of the sets do not include those.

I have already purchased Ghosts and Bizarre Murders . I was very pleased with the Ghosts DVD and have just begun watching my murders dvd...

If anything, I'll probably purchase Legends if it's available but I'm not gonna break my neck trying to find it. The other dvds don't interest me much.

Same here, I too own the Ghosts and Bizarre Murders dvds. I will eventually break down and get the Legends set. The UFO set, I dont think I will purchase, just because those cases freaked me out  , even more so than Ghosts and Murders.

I would've liked to have seen more of the older stories on the Bizarre Murders set, but for a starter dvd it has a good mixture of old and new stories.

I own all 6. I'm a diehard fan so naturally I had to get them all. I generally enjoy most segments just not too crazy about some of the psychic segments. There were some pretty good ones however that I enjoyed.

I'm definitely going to buy the Bizarre Murders DVD set. And yes, I'm going to buy the Ghost DVD set as well. Though I let it be known previously that I dislike that type of segment. Sue me alright. :p
