How did Maris' family make all of their money?

Don't know how F made history, but I think Maris' money came from the manufacture of urinal cakes (deodorizers).

Maris' family did make their money from Urinal cakes - which proved very useful for Niles in the divorce settlement!

As for the show making TV history, the only thing I can think of relates to Kelsey Grammer. He is now receiving record amounts for each episode (I can't remember how much, but I certainly wouldn't mind a piece of it!) and also he is the only actor to receive an award (again I can't remember which award) for playing the same character in 3 shows, Cheers, Wings and Frasier.

It should certainly go down in history though, as the best sitcom ever! (hey, who says I'm biased?!).
