Well, as you know, I might be new to these Messege Boards, but I know how to roleplay. I've been roleplaying for a while. And, I also know about how the characters act, so I'm going to start a roleplay for Three's Company. I know there is a couple of roleplays out there already, but I'm making a plot..

Plot:
Well, Jack and Janet have been through two blondes already, Chrissy and Cindy Snow. But now, they have their thrid roomate, Terri Alden. So this will take place after she moved in. Anyway, something terrible is going to happen to Janet, and I'm not going to tell anyone yet. I am going to play someone that you guys don't know yet, and then something will happen to Janet. Anyway, when Janet looks for comfort and support, her and Jack fall in love. You all know what I mean..

Slowly walking out the bathroom door, he checked around to see if anyone was there. Shrugging, he opened the door of a bedroom with two beds. He crouched down behind the door (crappy hiding space, huh?), and waited patiently for the victim.

awww i read this story before when it was first posted on the tc fanfics board, it's a great story, i think it's probably the first j&j fanfic i ever read.

Really? Yay! I love that story too! It's just so cute! But of course, we sort of can't do the bad scene in Jack's Bristo. But, at least you know now about your character. That's why I made a roleplay out of it. Did you read the new one yet?

Just start roleplaying. On the 1st or 2nd page of this topic, I already started the roleplay. So, we're doing the roleplay from "Closer Than Ever". So, I'm playing the guy who tries to harass Janet. So, you can start by Janet coming home, and we'll go on from there. Just read my post.

Janet: (sighing and opening the door. It had been a crappy day and she didn't feel like dealing with people.) Jack? You home, hon?

There was a noise coming from the living room. David could hear the front door open, then close. His heart started to pound heavily. He didn't know who was coming inside, because he was hiding behind the door. David didn't know who's room it was, but he guessed that two girls must have been sleeping there, for he looked around in the dressers. His pulse was racing, and suddenly he heard a girl calling for someone. Jack? Who was Jack? Did he live there, too? He hoped to god that no one would come inside when he was there. He closed his mouth so he could breathe quickly, and waited.

Janet (opening the door to her room and throwing her purse on the bed. Suddenly, she was grabbed from behind): AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

David suddenly grabbed Janet from behind, his grip tightened around her. He knew that she would be completely helpless. Once he got a hold of her, he quickly covered her mouth so she wouldn't scream. He knew that someone will call because of the screaming. David shoved Janet up against the wall, still covering her mouth.

Sorry, I have to go. I will finish this tomorrow.

David suddenly grabbed Janet from behind, his grip tightened around her. He knew that she would be completely helpless. Once he got a hold of her, he quickly covered her mouth so she wouldn't scream. Janet: (squirming out of his grasp and screaming) What the hell is your problem??!!

He grabbed her by the arms as she got away and covered her mouth to stop her from screaming. He pushed her against the door and pinned her there.

Meanwhile, two police officers were roaming around the area, close by the apartment. They were searching for David, who escaped out of jail a few days ago. They suddenly heard a woman scream in the distanst. Both of them suddenly ran up the stairs, hearing the scream again. The burst throught the door, and opened Janet's bedroom door.

"Put your hands up!"

Soon in a few minutes, David was out of sight in Apartment 201. The police were still there though, questioning Janet.

"Miss, could you please tell us what he did to you?"

Janet:(sighing and taking a shuddering breath. She bit down hard on her lower lip; nevertheless, tears found their way down her cheeks) I don't know...He was hurting me. I told him to stop...and he wouldn't. He wouldn't stop.

The policeman could tell that she didn't want to talk about it right now. He knew already what David wanted to do to her. He sighed, and got up.

"Alright, I think that's all we need."

Suddenly, Jack quickly opened to the door to his apartment. He had seen a police car parked across their street. He could sense something was wrong. As soon as he saw Janet on the couch, looking terrified, he ran over to her and put his arm around her shoulder.

"Janet, sweetie, what's going on? Are you ok?" He began to start sweating, not knowing what was going on, but hated seeing Janet crying. He quickly wiped away her tears with his thumb, like he usually did.

Janet: (still shaking in his arms) I.... (the words wouldn't even come as she burst into tears, clinging to his shirt tightly as she cried) Scared...so scared.

Jack took her in his arms again, only this time much closer. He patted her hair, not even wanting to look at her cry. Just the sight of her crying made him feel sick, and it killed him. Sometimes, it even made him feel like crying. But he had to be strong for Janet.

"Shh..everything's going to be okay sweetie. I'm here now, and you're safe with me." His grip around her waist was protective and firm. He wiped her tears away yet again.

"Some criminal who just escaped out of jail came over here to sexually harrasse your friend." The police officer informed Jack, pointing to David who was almost out of the door. Once Jack saw him, he quickly let go of Janet, even though he didn't want to. His hand formed into a fist and it was tightened. He started to walk over to David.

"You..you...I'll kill you.." He gave him one of the most coldest looks he had ever gave to a person in his life. He walked closer to him, not caring if some of the police officers were holding him back.

Janet: (whimpering softly, not even caring how helpless she sounded) Don't....please don't. Hold me. I need you to hold me.

Jack stopped in his tracks. As soon as he heard Janet call for him, he knew that she needed him. He was still looking over at David, his eyes still bittery cold. Yes, Jack wanted to punch him so hard, or even do something worse. No one had ever hurt Janet in any way, well except for her dancing teacher Michael. But he knew that he cheered her up in the end. That dance brought them closer than ever.

"Janet.." He looked as if he was about to cry, which he had never done in years, I'd like to point out. Inside he was tearing apart that Janet was crying. He wanted to make her feel better. But for right now, he did what she wanted to do. He walked over to the couch and slid his arms around her tiny waist. He pulled her so close to him that she was practically on his lap. But he didn't care. All he cared about was Janet. He kissed her forehead.

"Don't worry Janet, I promise you this won't happen again. I'm here honey." By this time, the police were already out of the apartment, hauling David out the door. But Jack's only attention was Janet.

Janet: (sighing softly and snuggling into his embrace, as her sobs tapered off to occasional whimpers) Don't go...don't. Don't leave. Please don't leave. (tears once again trickling down her face) He scared me. He really, really scared me. And I...will you just...do you mind if I sleep with you tonight? I just need you to hold me.

"Honey, I will never leave you. Don't ever think that. I will never leave you. Never." He smoothed her hair and rubbed her back. He just couldn't believe this was all happening at once. Why did it have to happen to Janet? His Janet? He wished that something terrible would have happened to him instead, he hated seeing her cry. He slowly reached up and wiped away her tears with his thumb. He was getting use to doing that, since he had done it quite a few times.

"Of course I'll hold you sweetie. Anything for you." He nodded and held her closer. Usually it was his instinct to make some foul remark of the bed arrangements, but he knew that he shouldn't right now. It would just make Janet feel worse, and he never wanted to do that to her.

Janet: (wiping her eyes) Thank you...thank you. I'm so tired now, but I can't go to sleep. I just can't. Every time I even think about closing my eyes, I freak out. I see it happening all over again. And I hate that, because, you know, it was only like ten seconds, but it...it changed everything. (she clung to his shirt tightly, yet again unable to keep the trears from falling)

"Listen..don't worry Janet. I'm right here, and I promise you that nothing is going to happen to you. I swear to god you'll be safe." He was telling the truth. He was never going to let a man come near her, or even look at her. Sure, he was being a little bit overprotected, but this was his Janet. He was going to keep her safe.

"Hey, I know you're tired. Let's just go to bed, ok? You need some rest." He wiped away her freshly new tears with his thumb, and hugged her closer. He never wanted to let her go, that was for sure. He knew that she was tired from all that crying. He pulled her up from the couch, his arm still around her waist.

Janet: (snuggled deeper into his arms, not even bothering to argue as he carried her to his bedroom. When he laid her gently onto the mattress, she immediately crawled under the covers and turned away from him, tucking herself into the fetal position)

As soon as he laid Janet down, he sighed as he got into his bed. He was still trying to get the thought of Janet crying out of his mind. She was so scared and terrified, almost like a little child. He sighed again and suddenly got up, and covered Janet with the whole entire blanket. He knew that he would be the one shivering all night, but he didn't care. He got back in bed and slid his arm protectively around her waist.

"I love you Janet, you know that? You'll be safe with me, I'll never let you go." He whispered into her ear and kissed her on the forehead. "Sweet dreams Janet."

Janet: (brealy audible, but he heard it all the same) Love you. Thank you for making me safe

"Your welcome honey." He stroked her hair and kissed her cheek. His grip around tightened her waist a little, not wanting to let go. He loved protecting her from everything, and he knew he wasn't going to let her go. After she had fell asleep, all he did was watch her sleep. After a few hours, he fell into a deep sleep.

Janet: (opening her eyes and surprised to see Jack's arm still sercurly around her waist. Something in his touch, however, made her feel safe and warm and protected and comforted, and as she looked over at him, she knew she'd never been more loved) Hey...

Jack slowly opened his eyes as soon as he heard Janet's sweet voice. He smiled over at her, glad to see that she was doing a little betetr than last night. He shivered a little, still a bit cold since he had no blankets. But he didn't care. All he cared about was Janet. His kissed her cheek.

"Hey babe, are you ok?" He looked up at her.

Janet: Better...but not okay.

"Well, don't worry sweetie. I'm here and nothing is going to happen to you." He nodded, his grip tightening protectively around her waist. He vowed himself that he would always take care of her from now on. He loved her, and it would kill him if something happened to her again. He would never forgive himself.

Janet:I'm hungry

He looked at her and nodded. He got up, and sighed - not wanting to leave Janet's embrace. He smiled down at her.

"Don't worry about it babe, I got it covered. Just stay there." He nodded, bending down to give her a kiss on the cheek. He walked out the door, and into the kitchen.

Janet: (whimpering softly as he got of the bed) Hurry back....(lower lip start to tremble) God, this is so f***** up. I hate sounding so desperate (at his shocked look) Yes, it's me, I know. I cuss whem I'm upset.

He turned around quickly when she started to whimper. He ran back over to her, and took her in his arms. When she sweared, he gave her a shocked look. Janet never really sweared that much at all, actually never. To him - at least. He stroked her hair and pulled her to him.

"Janet..it's ok. I'm here for you. Don't worry." He nodded, realizing what the criminal had did to Janet. He muttered something foul under her breath, and turned back to Janet.

Janet: Thanks...I'm okay. I've got to go to work anyway.

"Are you sure you're ok to go today? Maybe you should just stay home. I can take off work." He nodded, rubbing his hand up and down her arm.

Janet: I'm not particularly looking forward to it either, love, but I have to. Keep my mind off everything else.

Janet: Jack, no! I don't want to be scared all the damn time! I've got to go and get my mind off it.

"Ok.." He looked down at the floor, afraid that he had hurt her. He hesitated on whether or not to leave the room.

Janet: (sighing) Jack, I'm sorry. Look, yesterday was horrible for me. We both know that. I've got to move on. Youknow, there's a certain thing about the past. You can leave things there. All those times I fought with my sister, they're history. All my fights with you, their history. I think it's yesterday's turn to be history. That's the only way I can go on. (laughing softly) I really should've gotton a better grade in Psychology, huh?

"It's ok honey. I understand everything." He nodded, then laughed at the joke she made about Psychology. He shook his head, and smiled at her.

"You know you are amazing. You take the worst things in life and make everything bright. That's one of the reasons why I love you." He kissed her on the lips.

Janet: (whimpering again as he pulled away, albeit for an entiely different reason) I should go.

"Alright honey. Hey, why don't you stop by the Bistro after work, huh? I'm going to be working late - and I don't want you to be alone." He caressed her cheek, realizing that what he just said might hurt her again. He kept asking himself why he was being so stupid at this point. All he wanted to do was protect her.

Janet: Jack, that's real nice and all. I know you're a nice guy, but I'm a big girl. I don't need you to protect me from the world. I've been doing just fine on my own for the past thirty years. I think I can make it through today (slamming the door behind her, ignoring his calls for her to return)

"Janet I-" He was suddenly cut off from the sound of the door slamming. He hit his head numerous times with his hand, cursing at himself. Why was he acting like this? Yeah, he was always protective and caring for the girls, but for some reason he was acting overprotected towards Janet. But he had a reason.

Jack Tripper was falling in love.

Janet: (sighing as she drove to the Bistro. She opened the door to the resteraunt. Luckily, no one was there, because one look into Jack's eyes, and she burst into tears) I hate being scared

"Oh Janet.." All Jack could do was take Janet in his arms. He hated seeing her like this. It killed him to watch Janet being so scared and sad. His arms slid around her tiny waist, and their foreheads were touching. He wished that there was something to take her pain away, but there wasn't. But he promised himself to do the best he could.

"Janet, it's ok to be scared. It's ok."

Janet: (tears dripping onto his shirt as she snuggled into his embrace) Not for me, it isn't. I hate being vulnerable. (looking up at him and biting her lip, because for the brifest of seconds, she could've sworn she wanted him to kiss her)

"Janet.." He stroked her hair as she snuggled into his embrace. For some reason, her being there just felt so right to him. He wanted it to stay that way. He looked down at her, realizing just how beautiful she was. He slowly caressed her cheek, and he suddenly couldn't help himself as she looked into his eyes.

His mouth crushed against hers in a kiss. A real kiss.

Janet: (sighing as his mouth met hers) Jack, this isn't...(she opend her mouth to allow his tongue access, and clasped her hands around his neck) We shouldn't...(at that moment, he began raining kisses down her neck, and she moaned inaudibly) This isn't a productive solution to my problem

As soon as he stopped nibling at her neck, and pulled away. He knew that he could make her melt when he kissed her. And he didn't want anything else to do except go back and kiss her again. But he knew that once his lips touched her, that she didn't exactly approve of it.

"I shouldn't have done that, I'm sorry.." He looked down at the floor, and stepped away from her. He sighed, knowing that she obviously didn't feel the same way he did.

Janet: (sighing) Jack...I............I can't (eyes swimming with tears as she ran out the door) I can't be one of your girls

"Janet!" He called after her, as he watched her run right out the door. He hit his head, thinking about how stupid he was about kissing Janet. He should have never done that. Sure, Jack had feelings for her. Real feelings - more deeper than just being friends. He didn't want to be her friend for the rest of his life. He wanted to be her lover.

"Janet, you're not one of those girls. Trust me." He said, out of breath from chasing her down the street. He caught her by the arm and turned her around. It had started to rain right after Janet had arrived at his resturaunt, and Janet had never looked more beautiful as it rained. His hair was sticking to his skin, and he probably looked ridiculous at that moment, but he didn't care.

"Janet, I think I'm in love you.." He trailed off, hoping to god that she wouldn't smack him right in the face. His arms slid around her waist, and when she didn't pull away, he gave her a little grin, glad that at least he was getting close step by step.

"You...love me?" she whisperd softly. "No you don't."

"Janet! Did you just hear me? I said I love you! Did you ever hear me say that to another girl right in front of their face? No! It's because I only love you!" He looked at her, hoping that she would believe every word he had just said - because it was true.

Janet could only stare in shock as she heard the words that were coming from Jack's lips. How many times had she dreamed of him saying that to her? And now he was. He was standing right in front of her, and the moment was so perfect, so right...

"I love you, too" she whispered softly, giggling and shreaking happily as he lifted her a few feet off the ground and spun her around. Stll smiling, with his arms securely around her waist, he pressed his mouth slightly against her forehead, before moving to her lips. Sighing, she let herself fall into the earth shattering kiss, entwining her fingers in his hair.

And not once did she ever feel the rain.

Jack pulled away from the kiss, breathless. He couldn't believe what was happening to him. Janet - his best friend whom he loved since god knows when, finally admitted her love for him. It had made him so happy when she said that, and he twirled her around in the air before he gave her a kiss. A real kiss that they had never shared before. It was so sweet that he wanted to kiss her again. But he had to tell her one thing though.

"Janet, you don't know how many times I've wanted to say that to you. I love you so much Janet. I love you." He kissed her full on the lips again, and it was just as sweet as the last kiss. Once they broke away, he smiled down at his one true love. The woman of his dreams was finally in his arms. He looked up at the sky, filled with dark clouds and rain pouring down. The moment seemed so right, and there wasn't any other place where he'd rather be.

Janet smiled. "Um...I'd love to stay here with you like this, but this shirt costs me thirty dollars and it's not meant to get wet."

"Whatever you say madame." He laughed as he saluted her. Then he picked her up with her arms around his neck. He carried her all the way back to the Bistro.

"There, problem solved." He grinned, and took her in his arms again for yet another sweet kiss.

She laughed, then gasped softly nad he pulled her into the narrow hallway and gently pushed her against the wall for another kiss. Moaning as his mouth touched hers, her lips immdiately parted to give his tongue access. "Don't stop..." she whimpered. His arms were holding her close, and she was dimly aware that her fingers had entwined in his hair. Letting the kiss deepen, Janet trembled slightly with the sensation of his hands running down her body.

As Jack began to rain soft kisses down her neck, she suddenly pulled away, breathing heavily.He leaned in to kiss her again, but she wriggled out of his grasp. "It'll...it'll be harder to say no later," she offered him by way of explanation.

"Hey," he whispered softly, cupping her face in his hands and titling her chin up to face him. "It's your call. It's always gonna be your choice, all right? All you have to do is say no, and I'll stop. You KNOW I will. Don't think you owe me anything, because you never ever will."

"How did you get to be so wonderful? And when did you start reading my mind?"

Jack suddenly picked Janet up from the ground, and spun her around while she was a couple feet off the ground. He had never been more happy in his life. It was just like he had won a million dollars. But he won something better than that. He won Janet's love. He never wanted anyone more in his life. Finally he put her down softly but firmly back on the ground.

"It's my little secret." He grinned and kissed her nose. He didn't care if Janet didn't want to go too far. He respected her for stopping him from going too far. But like he had said, it will always be her choice. Her decision. He promised himself that everything from now on will be about Janet. He loved her so much, and he would do anything for her. But he couldn't help but admire her beauty. And neither could he help from leaning in to kiss her again, hoping she wouldn't pull away. But this time, he was more gentle and sweet with the kiss. "I love you." He said in between breaths.

"Love you."

"Come on, let's go home." He tugged on her hand and pointed his head to the door. Of course, he didn't want to leave. Not ever. He would rather stay here and kiss Janet and hold her forever. But, it was a long day and he was tired - and he was positive that Janet was tired too.

Janet bit her lip as she glanced at him, smiling shyly. "Terri's not coming home for awhile, right?"

Jack shrugged. "I don't keep up with her. Probably not. It's only eight, and isn't her shift over at midnight?"

"That's..um...that's kind of what I was couting on." Her voice was barely audible, but he heard every syllable. "We can - we can find ways to amuse ourselves, can't we?"

His voice was low and husky, his free hand resting on her upper thigh. "I think we can figure out something, love."

Jack grinned devilishy. He knew exactly what she was thinking. He promised her that he would stop if anything got out of hand, and he would do whatever she told him to.

"Come on, love." He snapped his head down the hallway. He grabbed her hand and started to run down the hall. Suddenly he stopped, and scooped her up quickly, walking up the stairs. Actually, he was running. As Janet giggled and shrieked, they finally made it to the top of the stairs, and he opened the door with his free hand. He then threw her door on the bed and started to rain kisses down her neck.

Her playful screams soon turned into pleasurable moans and sighs. Jack had pinned her to the bed, careful to keep most of his weight off her. He kissed her hard on the mouth, then pulling away to run kisses down her neck. Janet trembled slightly under his touch, her hands reaching up to grasp his shirt gently. "Oh...oh, God," she whimpered as he kissed her again. Her voice was low and husky, ragged with desire. "If you stop this now, Jack Tripper, I will kill you."

"Whatever you say." He smirked and leaned over to kiss her again with a more fiery passion in it. His kisses became more intense, but not too intense that she would tell him to stop. His hand went up her shirt to play with her bra strap.

"God, you don't know how bad I want you right now, Janet."

I can play both... if ya want.. but if not, which character would you rather me play?

Janet sighed happily, Jack's hands playing with the strap of her bra. Her shirt was unbuttoned and hanging off her shoulders, and he was planting small kisses on her abdomen. Her muscles tensed underneath her boyfriend's touch. She began to whimper softly, and tears formed in her eyes. She had to bite down hard on her lower lip to keep from screaming out loud. "My god!"

Jack pulled away slightly, careesing her cheek lovingly. "Too much?"

She shook her head vigorously, guiding his lips to hers once again. His tongue immediately began to explore her mouth, and everything was right with the world. "So damn good..." she groaned. "Keep going."

"Whatever you say." Jack took her orders and never stopped kissing her.

The sun beamed inside the room that was upstairs. The two lovers were sleeping right next to each other. Jack's arm was protectively around Janet's tiny waist, while she was snuggled up close to his embrace. The sun was hit directly at Jack's face, which caused him to wake up suddenly. He looked over at Janet, who was still asleep.

"Hey beautiful." He kissed on full on the lips. "You were amazing last night."

She smiled softly. "I could say the same about you." He kissed her gently on the forehead, and she snuggled up against him. "I love you."

Jack's only response was to kiss her again. "I love you, too, sweetheart."

They were silent for a few moments, untill Janet spoke up, laughing softly. "Last night was one of the most impulsive things I've ever done. But I don't regret it."

"So did Terri ever come home?"

"How would I know?"

Jack grinned. "Yeah...you wouldn't. You were too wrapped up in me. I never knew you were so vocal, love."

Her mouth dropped open, and she began to protest, but was cut off by the sensation of Jack's mouth on hers. "Kidding, hon. If it makes you feel any better, you did more for me than I did for you."

"Jack?" she questioned suddenly. "We were kinda...rushed last night. Did we...did we use a condom?"

Jack eye's suddenly left Janet's, as he looked around the room nervously. He was so caught up in loving Janet, wanting to spend every moment with her. He tried to think back to that moment, and what had exactly happened. He knew that he wanted to use one, since they've only been dating for only a day. Actually, he never thought that they would have gotten this far in such a short time. But it felt like they were lovers for years.

"Don't worry hunny, we did." He smiled, proud of himself that he was able to remember. He leaned back down only to kiss her again on the mouth, letting his tongue explore it. Back and forth he went from kissing her on the neck, and back to her mouth. Each time, his kisses got more and more intense.

"Jack..." Janet whined softly. "Work, remember? Those things we get paid for? And those things that we need to get to within...an hour?"

"It's Saturday," he mumbled, his mouth never leaving her skin. "Everybody's late. Normal people don't work at all." Running small kisses down the nape of her neck, he smiled to himself. He knew by the feel of her that she was relaxing. He knew that she was on the verge of staying, but he had to clinch the deal. Rolling on top of her, he kissed her hard on the mouth, playing with her shirt. "Stay here with me."

"Uh-uh," was all she could say. Her muscles tensing slightly, she grabbed his shirt, quickly unbuttoning it and ripping it off him. Her breathing became heavy, her voice low and rich with desire. "Forever." They both knew that there was no way she was leaving anytime soon. "Jack..."

"Tell me, sweetheart. Tell me what you want."

Squirming beneath him, Janet reached up to bring his lips back to hers. "You. With me. Now," she panted beteween sensual kisses. "Please...oh please."

"Hold on tight, my love." He grinned as he pinned her to the bed, and started to kiss her all over her body. He never wanted to stop, and he never wanted to leave at that moment. This was what he always wanted. To have the one person he loved the most in his arms, kissing her hungrily.

"I love you." He whispered into her ears as he slowly unbuttoned her shirt, and slid it off her arms. "You're so beautiful." He went back to kiss her on the lips again, this time more feirce and intense than ever before. The kiss showed just how much he wanted her right there and then. He didn't even care about going anywhere right then. And he hoped to god that someone wouldn't call. He just wanted to stay with her.

Finally content, Janet snuggled up against him. Their lovemaking had been fast and furious. She had no idea where her clothes were, and frankly she didn't care. Jack...he was all she'd ever wanted. He would be all she'd ever need. She loved him. "I love you," she mumbled softly, her face buried in his chest.

Lifting her chin upwards, he peered deep into her eyes. "Janet Wood, I love you. Always." With that, he kissed her again. He knew now that the day was shot for both of them, but he didn't care. "It's always been you, baby..."

Happy tears pooled in her eyes, which she quickly blinked away. "I love you. So much." Suddenly, a thought struck her. True, they had used a condom LAST time, but not moments before. And, even if they had, nothing was ever guarenteed. The episode of Friends she had watched the week before proved that. Ross had freaked out because they were only 97% effective. "Jack?"

"Hm?"

"Look at me. I'm serious."

"What is it, love?"

"We didn't use a condom this time. I could be pregnant."

I could be pregnant.

Those words felt like someone had hit him in the face. He didn't even notice that they didn't use a condom. He was so wrapped up in her, and wanting to love her, he totally forgot. True, Jack always wanted to be a father, but he never knew that it would be so quick. He knew that after a few years living with Janet, he was sure she was the one. And he knew that Janet would be the only one he would make love to.

"Janet, don't worry about it. You may or may not be pregnant. No one knows yet. But if you are or you're not, just remember that I'll still be here. I'll never leave you honey." He lifted her chin to look into her beautiful brown eyes. He kissed her on the forehead. The whole pregnant thing still shocked him a bit. They had only been dating for a day, and frankly - that made Jack feel so low and dirty. But he didn't care how long they were dating. The only thing he cared about was Janet.

"Don't worry, ok? I still love you, and I always will whether or not you're pregnant."

Jack's kind words should have made her feel more secure, but, in all honesty, it did the complete opposite. She didn't want him to say with her and a baby when he didn't want to. She didn't want him to stay out of responsibility. He said he loved her then, but what would happen if she was carrying his child? She was a little afraid to think. Even though they'd been together less than 24 hours, she loved him more than life itself. Heck, they's already slept together twice. Janet could honestly say she didn't know what she'd do without him. "Would you be mad at me if I told you I want this?"

Jack was silent, and she had a sinking suspicion she shouldn't have opened her mouth. "But obviously you don't, so...okay. That's good to know." He reached out for her, but she shrank away.

"Janet.." His hand reached out to caress her cheek, but she pulled away. The look on her just wanted to make him cry. She looked like a little child, like she was afraid to go near him. It made him feel rejected, and like he was the bad guy. He was surprised that Janet wanted the baby. He thought that maybe she would be a little scared, since they weren't even married yet. Well, Jack was planning on marrying her soon.

"Janet, I would never be mad at you. You know that hun. I love you." His arms slid around her waist, and this time she didn't protest and turn away. He smiled, and was glad that he was getting her attention back. He kissed her on the lips, starting out as a sweet and gentle kiss. It sooned turned into a passionate kiss, as Jack opened his mouth to let his tongue explore her mouth. As soon as they each pulled away, he caressed her cheek.

"I love you so much Janet. If you want this, then I want it to."

((Wait, was Jack suppose to be mad or not? I'm confused about it..))

Janet smiled sadly. "Don't say what I want to hear." Pulling her shirt back on, she got out of bed and wennt into the living room.

At that moment, he felt like killing himself right there. The last thing in the world he wanted to do was make Janet mad, and sad. He never wanted to do that at all. He had to find a way to make it up to her somehow, but he knew what was wrong.

"Janet, I know you want this baby. I want it as much as you do. And I'm not just saying it because you want it." He looked up at her with his sad eyes. But everything he said was true. He always wanted a child. And he knew Janet was the one he wanted a child with - he was never more sure. He walked over and slid his arms around her waist, kissing on the lips.

"Hmm..want to double our chances on having a baby?" He smirked, playing with the hem of her shirt.

Her eyes sparkled as she immdiately ran into his arms, squealing with glee as he spun her around. "Yes!" she cried. Then she covered her mouth, afraid that she had woken Terri. But no. after peeking into the room, she noticed that her friend had no intention of waking anytime soon. Sighing with relief, she jumped slightly as Jack crept up behind her.

"So you want that baby?"

She laughed, turning serious as he peered into her eyes. "More than anything. I love you, Jack Tripper, and I want to have your baby."

Jack grinned, and spinned her around. He was so happy, and he never wanted anything more in his life than to have a baby with Janet. But then what if she gets pregnant? Then they're going to have to get married. But Jack didn't want to marry Janet just because of the baby. He just wanted to marry her.

"Janet, I know you want this baby as much as I do. But, can you just wait for a few days?" He caressed her cheek, and could see the sadness in her eyes as he told her. But she had to wait, because he had to make a special errand.

Janet looked down, afraid she would cry. But, looking at Jack and the sincere love in his eyes, she managed a smile. "Okay. Two days, Jack. Two days."

"Two days. I promise you." He kissed the top of her head.

The next day, Jack entered the door of one of the jewelry stores in the town. It was one of the most expensive, too. He looked around and saw a few people gazing at the jewerly. He smiled, as he searched through the see-through glass. There were so many rings, and he didn't know which one to pick. After searching for a few hours, he finally found one that was the second most expensive in the store. He felt so proud that he could afford it, since he owned his own resturaunt.

The day after he got the ring, he spent his whole day in the Bistro cooking for a date with Janet. This night was going to be very big, and it would change their lives forever. Yes, Jack Tripper was going to propose to Janet Wood. He was so excited, yet so nervous on what to say. The whole day he fixed up dinner, and the entire room upstairs. He wanted this to be so perfect, and he didn't want anything to go wrong.

"Keep your eyes closed, sweetie." They both laughed as Jack's hand was over Janet's eyes. He was so excited on what she would say when she saw the room. He opened the door open, and took his hands off her eyes. The first thing that came from her mouth was a gasp. Inside, the room was very dim. The only light was two candles on a table filled with food.

"Oh my god..it's so beautiful Jack. You're amazing." She turned around to kiss his cheek, not knowing what was in store for her.

"You are amazing. So amazing." He corrected her, kissing her forehead. He knew that he couldn't the excitement of what he was going to do. He didn't even care about the food anymore. All he wanted to do was ask Janet the one thing he wanted to ask her for a long time.

"I can't take this.." He shook his head, trying to contain the excitement.

"Jack, are you ok?" There was a worried look in her eyes. But it disappeared as she saw Jack kneel down in front of her. She knew what was coming. She already had tears in her eyes.

"You know, I was trying to think of something to say to you. A big speech. But I'll say it straight from my heart. Janet Wood, I love you with all my heart. You are my world. Please marry me." He pulled out a tiny black box, and opened it to reveal a beautiful 14 - carat gold ring. ((Geez..I don't even know what kind of ring I'm talking about..))

Janet burst into tears right then. Watching him slip the ring out of the box, she just lost it. Everythng was so perfect, and she didn't know why she desrved it, but he was right there, offering to love her for the rest of his life...why on earth would she refuse? "I love you, Jack...I love you so much. Oh, God, yes! A thousand times yes!" She practically jumped into his arms as he put the ring on her finger.

"I know this is really fast, but I've loved you forever. I'm so glad you said yes..."

She laughed. "What would you have done if I hadn't?"

"I took a chance that you would."

"You should be impetuous more often. This was lovely, Jack. Not to mention so totally amazing." But then she gew serious, her childish fears coming back to overwhelm her. “Don't...I don't even like it when we fight. Even for a minute. Don't ever leave me. I couldn’t bare it”.

“Come here,” Jack murmured softly and pulled her closer. “You can stop worrying about your heart, Love. As long as it’s mine you can trust I’ll always take care of it. You’re mine now, forever."

Janet smiled brightly, despite the fears in her heart. Perhaps they could make it work. She had always believed in the power of love overcoming all obstacles. Perhaps Jack Tripper was sent to her to prove that power. They were so very much opposites, but nothing felt right if he wasn’t by her side. Only time would tell.

And time would eventually reveal all as the tiny life inside her, only 5 days old, continued to grow…..

"I love you so much." He told her as he slipped the ring on her left hand. (I think that's the right hand..) That day was the happiest day in his whole life. Not even getting his Bistro could compare to this. The words that Janet had said about him leaving her played back in his mind for a while. He knew that he would never ever leave her. And if he did, he knew that his life would be so miserable. He told himself to try and not to get in a fight with her, so that leaving her wouldn't an option. But right he had another thing on his mind.

"You know how many days it's been?" He smirked at her, and pulled her closer to him. She knew exactly what he meant, and she smiled up at him. He kissed on her lips, while playing with the hem of her shirt. He slowly took it off, and threw it across the room. His thumbs dug deep into the side of her jeans, still kissing her.

Janet smiled, pleasurable moans escaping her throat as he kissed her hard on the mouth. Her jeans were sliding down her hips, and she was frantically pulling at his shirt. "Love me...now," she mumbled. "We can stay the night. Teri'll never know."

"Good." He smiled, and those words were the only ones he needed to hear. At that moment, Jack had no cares about anything else in the world. It felt like no one else existed except him and Janet. His lips hit hers so hard that is caused her fall on top of the bed.

Once again, Jack woke up with Janet in his arms. That was the place where he wanted to be forever. But this time, he was awoken by Janet's lips on his. He smiled and opened his eyes to reveal his beautiful bride-to-be. This was how he wanted to wake up everyday. "Hey love. You were wonderful last night. I love you so much." He kissed her on the top of her head, before moving down to her lips.

"Maybe we should double are chances again, huh?" He laughed, rolling on top of her.

She laughed, propping herslf up on her elbows so she could look him in the eyes. "I'd love to, but we should get home. Everyone will be wondering."

Jack sighed, feigning hurt, but then planted a small kiss in her palm. "Okay. But I'm bringing you back here, missy."

In response, she rolled over on top of him, kissing him with all she had. "That's absolutely fine with me."

"Alright, let's go home." He handed her all her clothes, and they got dressed to head back home. Hopefully everyone would take the news ok.

"We're home!" Jack called as they both entered what seemed like their empty apartment. Jack looked around, knocking on the doors, hoping Terri would be there. He wanted to tell everyone about their engagment. He was so excited about it. But he would be very excited when he found out about the unknown baby.

"Jack?" He spun around and heard Terri's questioning voice. He told her to come in the living room, and he walked back over to Janet, and had his arm around her waist.

"Terri, me and Janet want to tell you something."

Totally ignoring Jack's comment, Terri was just glad to see them and that they were ok. "Where were you two all last night? I was starting to get worried. I was afraid something might have happened. There better be a good..." before she could finish she got interrupted.

"We're getting married." Janet blurted out before Jack could stop her. "He proposed last night." She could tell her best friend was shocked, and rightly so. Technically, they had only been together a few days. But she'd loved him for years, and vice versa. After a few moments of silence, Janet began to worry. Maybe this wouldn't be so easy. "Terri, I know this is really fast, and you don't have to support us right now, but please say something."

Terri was totally speechless and she just stood there for several minutes in silence. Then what seemed to be out of nowhere "OMG Janet congratulations" She hugged her best friend. "I'm so happy for you" She smiled at Jack. "For both of you"

"Terri, thanks for not taking this so hard." He hugged his roomate and returned to Janet, kissing her forehead. He was so happy that Terri wasn't mad or anything, since everything was sort of sudden. But he didn't matter. He just loved Janet.

"I love you." He whispered in her ear and sqeezed her hand.

Janet smiled. "Love you, too." Suddenly, though, she was struck with an awful nausea, and all but ran to the bathroom.

Terri noticed that Janet obviously seemed sick. She had a hunch of why, considering she's a nurse and she can spot these things, but just to make sure, she turned and looked at Jack with her normal smirk "Jack, is there something I should know?"

"Janet?" Jack's questioning voice turned to a panic as soon as he saw her run inside the bathroom. He ran right after her, opening the door only to find Janet leaned over the toilet. What was wrong with her, he asked himself. But his thoughts had to wait as he rushed over to her side, rubbing her back with one hand while the other was loosely around her waist.

"It's going to be ok sweetie." He whispered into her ear as she continued to throw up in the bathroom. Whatever it was, he hoped it would pass quickly. He hated seeing Janet so weak. Soon after a minute, Terri came walking in with a smirk on her face, which wasn't so good. Once she asked him that question, he tried to change the subject and tried to center on Janet.

"Terri, why don't you get a cup of water or something?" He told her, and as soon as she left - and once Janet flushed the toilet, Jack came over to her and pulled her on his lap and cradled her. He kissed her cheek. "It's ok honey."

And at that moment, he was suspicious and was sure that Terri knew what they had done.

Janet sighed, burying her face in Jack's neck as he rocked her softly. "Aw...sweetie, it's okay," he murmured softly. "I'm here, love. I'm right here. I'm never leaving, remember? You're all right...I'm right here with you."

She opened her mouth to respnd, but the nausea returned, harder and in full force than before. Scrambling out of his arms, she knelt in front of the toilet and threw up again and again.

"Oh Janet.." He looked at her in guilt, knowing he couldn't do anything to stop her. But he knew that he could make her feel a little bit more comfortable. He came up behind her, wrapping his arm around her waist, while the other was pulling strands of her out of her face. He didn't know why she was so sick, but he just wanted it to stop.

"I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere. Whatever is going on, I know it'll stop. You'll get through this, I know it." He whispered to her, and she after a few minutes, she was done. He cradled her again, kissing her on the lips. So what if he got germs? At least it was making her feel a little better. Suddenly Terri was in the doorway with the glass of water, smirking at them once again.

Janet sighed. "Would you quit that? If you want to say something, say it. And don't make that face. I hate walking on eggshells around people."

"I'm sorry." His hands left her waist and he backed an inch away. He didn't really know what to say, except why was she so sick all of the sudden? He knew that obviously Terri knew what was going on, but right now she wasn't speaking up. So he decided to ask Janet what was nagging at him for a while.

"Janet, why are you so sick now?" He said, looking at the ground. He could tell that she was a little mad, so he didn't want to push anything. He gave a quick glance at Terri, hoping she would leave them alone for a little bit.

Janet took a deep breath. "Terri, you're my best friend and I love you, but I'm going to be incredibly rude right now and ask if you could go to Larry's for awhile so I can talk to Jack. Alone."

Terri just smiled and stared at them, thinking how cute they were together. Totally in a daze she didn't even notice that Jack was giving her a 'get out of here' look until a couple of minutes past. Finally she heard Janet's voice. With a jolt "Oh.. sure, I'm just let you two talk and I'll be at Larry's if you need me" She lightly closed the door behind her.

Terri was so excited to tell Larry all the good news that she almost tripped on the steps. She knocked on the door and eagerly awaited for Larry to open it.

Jack watched Terri as she left the bathroom. He looked over at Janet, and knew something was going on. Why else would she want to talk to him alone? His hand reached up to caress her cheek, and he looked at her with a questioning face.

"Honey, is there something you want to tell me?"

A pair of eyes woke up Larry Dallas' apartment. He jumped up, quickly reacting to the sound of the door. He was on a date with a girl named Melissa, and boy - he was knocked out. He groaned, walking over to the door. Just ruined a perfectly good nap, he yelled to himself.

"Terri, why did you have to come up here now?" His hair was a mess, and he ran a hand through his black hair.

Terri walked right past him and entered his apartment and started pacing across the room. "Larry, you are never going to believe this"

"Honey, is there something you want to tell me?"

Taking one of his hands in hers, she took a few quick breaths, needing a few moments to regain her composure. Nevertheless, her voice shook, and stray tears fell down her cheeks. "I think...I think you may be a daddy sooner than you thought. Can - can you go pick me up a test now?"

"What is it?" He thought about it, and he thought that maybe Greedy Gretchen or some other girl he dated mentioned his name or something. He sat on the couch, stretching his legs out and yawned. Whatever Terri was about to say, he had to make it quick. He had to get ready for his date for that night.

"Janet.." He watched as tears fell down her eyes. He reached up to wipe them away, and a smile appeared on his face. Could Janet be pregnant? He didn't know, but he hoped so. This was what they both wanted, and he was so excited about it. He felt like twirling her in the air, but he knew it wouldn't be good for her.

"That's wonderful sweetie! I thought you would be happy. What's wrong with having a baby now? We both want it, anyway." He smiled up at her and kissed her on the lips.

She forced a smle, and then found herself being genuienly caught up in his happiness. "No, it's good...just soon."

Terri's smile grew wider "Jack and Janet fell in love and Janet's pregnant. Well, she hasn't exactly told me yet and she doesn't know for sure, but I just know it Larry, she had all the symptoms. Isn't this exciting?" Terri sat next to him in anticipation.

"It's ok honey. Don't worry about it. All I care is that there's a possibility we might have a baby!" He grinned widely, and kissed her full on the lips again. Suddenly in his mind, he remembered the errand Janet wanted him to do. He sighed, not wanting to let her go, but he got up, and pulled her up with him.

"Alright, I'll go to the store, ok? Now, what are we going to do about Terri? And hell, what about everyone else?" He started to panic a little, not realizing that he never told Larry or Mr. Furley about their relationship.

((Yeah, of course I'd love to! I've noticed a lot that Styles Clash (formerly Jackhammer) never really played Jack a lot. But I'd love to!))

Suddenly Larry's eyes grew wide as Terri told him about Jack and Janet. Was this really happening? He never knew that they would actually be a "couple". But he always knew that they secretly had a thing for each other. Larry Dallas was no dummy. He had a smile on his face.

"No way! Janet's pregnant?" That was clearly all he heard come out of Terri's mouth. He chuckled at the thought of Jack getting Janet pregnant. That dirty old Jack, he laughed.

Janet had curled herslf into a tiny ball, and was sitting on the bathroom floor. "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Now, please go!" Smiling, she placed a hand on her flat stomach before entwining Jack's fingers with hers. "I love you, Jack."

Jack smiled and kissed her on the lips. "I love you too baby." And in an instant, he was gone, driving down to the drugstore. He was so excited that he almost ran into a car. His mind was on Janet and how happy they'll be if there is a baby. Finally, he made it.

Normally Terri would be mad at Larry for that comment, but somehow it seemed different now. Everything was about to change forever. Terri suddenly started thinking about what was going to happen to everybody. She unexpectedly got real quiet and sat there in silence for a few short minutes.

"Terri, you ok?" He scooted closer to her on the couch, trying to comfort her. Once he heard the news about Jack and Janet, he didn't really take it seriously. But once he heard that Janet was pregnant, he knew that they weren't joking about their relationship. He knew Jack well, and Jack would never get a girl pregnant unless he was truely in love with her. He focused back on Terri and put an arm around her.

Janet had to laugh as Jack practically ran into the couch, and then the bathroom door, as he got home. She grabbed the bag from him, and exited the room after awhile. "Three minutes," she reported. After the alotted time had past, she snatched it from the table. Glancing at it, she began to cry, throwing herself into Jack's arms. "Yes!" she cried, the tears falling again. "Honey...honey, I'm pregnant. We're having a baby!" She giggled hysterically as Jack gently spun her around. "Oh, God, I love you!"

"Janet, I couldn't have asked for anything more. This is so perfect." He smiled as the wiped the tears from her face. "You're going to be a wonderful mother. I love you so much." He leaned in for a breath-taking kiss, and letting his tongue enter. And at that moment, he knew his life was so perfect now.

"Well, you could live with him." Larry shrugged at the suggestion. Terri was his friend, and he knew that she would need a place to stay. But then his mind went on to other things, like what would happen when he brought home dates, and she would too. Ah what the heck, he thought.

Terri looked up at Larry's face with tears starting to form in her eyes. Is he serious? she thought. "huh? Wait, what did you just say?"

"I said you could live with me, if you want." He smiled up at her. He didn't know what she was going to say, since her and Janet always tormented him. He wasn't always low and cheap. He saw tears in her eyes, and wondered why she was crying, but wiped them away anyhow.

"Janet!" He pulled her closer to him, once the excitement faded. There was a serious look in his eyes, and he looked down into the woman who was carrying his baby. Her voice still shaking, she miled up at him, eyes shining with love. "And you'll make a great dad. I love you. And I can never thank you enough for everything that you've done for me. But I'll try. I promise you I'll try."

Jack shook his head, pulling her close as she began to cry. Lifting her chin softly, he looked deep into her eyes. "I should be telling you that, woman. That's my line."

"That's what happens when you spend to much time with a person," she whispered, a pleasent tickle in her stomach. "You start stealing their material."

"What have I ever stolen of yours?" he asked, mocking sincere hurt.

"My heart. You dirty theif."

Terri was surprised that Larry was being so nice to her considering how cruel she always treated him. Even though she despised Larry, she still thought of him as a loyal friend and someone you can count on. "Ok Larry you got yourself a roommate" She smiled a worried smile but reinsured herself that everything will be fine.

"Oh, and that's such a big crime." He laughed, pulling her closer and closer to him. "You don't want me to steal your heart?" His bottom lip stuck out, and he made a pouty face. He laughed a bit then leaned in to kiss her.

"Great! Why don't you just go downstairs and get your stuff? I'll be up there in a minute to help carry them down." He opened the door for her, a bit stunned. He never realized how good of a friend Terri was.

Terri was shocked of what a gentlemen Larry was being. As he opened the door she thanked him and walked out. When she arrived at her apartment, she looked around, but didn't see anyone. "Jack? Janet? Anyone here?"

Zack:I'm here.I just got back from the Regal Beagle.Anything unusual happen since I'm gone

"Oh, and that's such a big crime." He laughed, pulling her closer and closer to him. "You don't want me to steal your heart?" His bottom lip stuck out, and he made a pouty face. He laughed a bit then leaned in to kiss her.

"I never said that," she mumbled in between kisses. "I was just stating a fact. There's a difference."

"Smartass," Jack said, smiling as he kissed her forehead gently. "You're damn lucky I love you."

"Understatement of the century, " Janet responded quietly, her arms clasped around his neck. "What did I ever to to deserve you?"

"You didn't do anything. You're just being you, and that's all I need." He smiled at her, their foreheads touching each other. He paused, realizing something. "Wait, I'm suppose to say that line!" He laughed, and twirled her around, causing her to giggle.

"But, it's true. I don't deserve you. I don't even know why you love me." He looked down at the ground, feeling a little guilty. He loved Janet, but he thought back to all those times when he treated her like dirt, and tried to get rid of her because he had a date. He wished he could take all of that back.

"You're kidding, right? Jack, oh God, sweetheart, you're everything to me. You love me. You make me feel amazing...special...like I'm the only woman in the world. You make me fee safe. Honey, you're...you're it. You and our baby. That's all I'll ever need. That's all I'll ever want."

Jack didn't say a words, yet no words were needed as theire lips met in a long, passion-filled kiss. "You're so good for me, you know that?"

She smiled, absently playing with the collar of his shirt. "Can we - can we keep this a secret?" she asked, touching her abdomen lightly. "I just - people are gonna think I'm skanky."

"Of course sweetie, but I don't think anyone will think you're skanky. I mean, we love each other, so it shouldn't matter, right?" He rubbed her back in a circular motion. He honestly didn't care if anyone had something bad to say about them. He just loved her, that's all. But, he would make sure that he would punch the person who - if they would - call Janet a skank.

Suddenly, Jack realized someone was inside the apartment. It was Terri. He was a little nervous, seeing as though she probably already knew that Janet was pregnant. And knowing Terri, the word would spread around quickly. "Um..Janet, I think we have a problem."

"What is it?" She looked deep into his eyes, trying to find what the problem was.

"I think Terri knows you're pregnant. She gave me this look when you were in the bathroom." He looked down at the ground, feeling a little nervous.

Terri figured that she wouldn't bother Jack or Janet. They probably want to talk alone without any interruptions. She thought to herself as she quietly walked into her bed room. After she was done packing her things she looked around the room one more time and started carrying her stuff into the living room.

Larry got dressed and made his way down to the apartment. He was still a little shocked about the whole Jack and Janet thing. He never thought that they would admit their feelings towards each other. He knocked slightly on the door, and waited for Terri to let him in.

Terri opened the door for Larry. "Hey, I think I'm just about packed. You know I never realized how much stuff i owned until I went through it all" She giggled and got her purse.

"Just make sure your stuff doesn't fill up my apartment." He chuckled, grabbing all of her suitcases. There was so much stuff in there, that he accidently dropped some of the suitcases. He looked up at her, in an exhausted voice. "What do you have in here woman?" He yelled at her.

Terri giggled again. "Nothing really, just my makeup, clothes, a couple of sentimental things, oh and did I mention my makeup and clothes..." Her voice trailed off as they left the apartment.

"Maybe you should level you're makeup and things a bit down." He said in between breaths, trying to carry the bags upstairs. He then realized something. "Oh god, my whole apartment will be all girly now." He shook his head, and continued to walk upstairs. He asked himself why again he was letting Terri stay at his apartment.

But he already knew the answer.

Terri also shook her head. Men! she mumbled under her breath. "Don't worry Larry, I'll just live in my room and my room only. Besides with us both going on dates and me being at the hospital for how many hours at a time, we probably won't even see each other that often."

"Of course sweetie, but I don't think anyone will think you're skanky. I mean, we love each other, so it shouldn't matter, right?" He rubbed her back in a circular motion. He honestly didn't care if anyone had something bad to say about them. He just loved her, that's all. But, he would make sure that he would punch the person who - if they would - call Janet a skank.

"I'm so sorry Janet." He kissed her on the forehead, cradling her in his arms. He didn't know what to do now. Knowing Terri, probably the whole town knew now. He just wished that she wasn't a Nurse, and Janet wouldn't be so miserable now. Suddenly, an idea popped up in his head. He let go of her, and kissed her on the lips. "Hang on, I know what to do. Just stay here, ok sweetie?" He smiled, and was out the door in an instant.

Larry sighed as he heard Terri told him about how they were never going to see each other that much. Sure, it would be nice with no one else in the apartment when he had dates. But he was sure that he wouldn't have any more dates with those girls anymore. Suddenly the door bell rang, and he opened it to see Jack's face. "Terri, I know you know that Janet is pregnant. Now, before I choke you to death, did you tell anyone else about it?" His breathing became short, since he was nervous.

Terri was scared because she never saw Jack so angry at her before. He was even more angry than when she first moved in. Backing away against the wall she said "uhhhh.... well... I kind of told Larry, but he's the only one" She replied quickly and then braced herself for Jack's response.

"Oh my god..you told Larry? We're ruined! Just ruined!" He buried his face in his hands, not knowing what to do. He just wished that no one else in the world knew about the baby. But he knew that he had to do something to stop the spreading around. He took a deep breath, still looking at Terri with firery eyes.

"Terri, promise me you won't tell anyone else about the baby. Janet doen't want everyone to think she's..well..you know. Low or something. Please promise me." He grabbed her shoulders again, and looked her straight into her eyes.

Terri felt horrible. Why would I tell Larry, of all people? she asked herself. "Don't worry Jack I promise and I'll see if I can get Larry to keep his mouth shut too. Besides i love Janet. I would never want to ruin her reputation. Ok? Do you feel better now?"

"No, I won't feel better. I wish that no one else would know. God, Janet is going to freak out." He buried his face in his hands again, rubbing his face. He got up, walking out of the bedroom. "No, I have to talk to Larry myself."

Larry sat on the couch, waiting for Jack and Terri to come out. He wondered what they possible could be talking about. He looked at the door, and suddenly felt a pair of hands shove him off the couch and he fell to the floor. Jack picked him up and threw him against the wall. Jack knew Larry, and he knew that whenever he told Larry something, he would tell people anyway. So he had to go to the limit.

"Now, you listen to me Lawrence Dallas and you better listen good, because I'm only going to say it once. Now, me and Janet are getting married. And Terri obviously told you that Janet is pregnant, and that is true. Now, I don't want you or Terri to tell anyone else because Janet will get upset, ok? And I love Janet very much, more than life itself. So you better not say anything to anyone or I'm coming after you, pal."

He let go of Larry, and took a deep breath. He couldn't believe he actually did that. No one had ever seen Jack actually threaten his best friend because of Janet. But he hoped that it showed how much he truely loved her. Meanwhile, Larry was wide-eyed, totally shocked.

"S-Sure..J-Jack.." He was shaking a bit.

Terri came running into the room already furious at Jack. "JACK! You have no right pushing Larry around like that. It was me who told him, it's MY fault if the whole world knows. You can just get out of OUR home if you're going to act like that. Go back to your precious Janet. We know that's all you ever care about anymore. Do you honestly think that we, your dearest friends would ever do anything to hurt Janet?" She was so infuriated that she didn't even want to hear his reply. "No i didn't think so" She stormed out of the room and slammed the door of the bed room.

Jack sighed and looked down at the floor, already guilty of himself. Why did he push Larry around like that? He kept hitting himself in the head, thinking of how much of a jerk he was acting right there. He looked up at Larry, who was still backed up against the wall. Looking at him made him feel even more guilty.

"I'm really sorry Larry. I shouldn't have done that. I should go now." His eyes were glued to the floor, and he quickly made his way back to his apartment.

Even though Larry was scared to death, he heard the entire fight between Terri and Jack. But suddenly, he heard a word that stood out. Our was the word. She had just said "Our house." Why did she say that? He asked himself that question over and over again. He sighed as he walked inside the bedroom, only to find a frustrated Terri there. He sat down beside her.

"Terri, he had every right to push me around. I didn't take Jack and Janet's relationship seriously. And honestly, if he hadn't done that, I would have told anyway." He shrugged, and looked down at the ground. "Jack's just stressing out because this might ruin their relationship."

Wondering what was taking Jack so long, Janet had wandered downstairs and heard the tail end of Terri's rant. She coughed softly, causing all eyes on her. Terri gasped, and Jack immediately reached out for her. "Hon..."

Before anyone could saya word, she ran back up the stairs, tears streaming down her face.

"Oh god no.." He took a deep breath and ran after her. He caught up with her and grabbed her by the arm, and turned her around. There were tears streaming down her face, but to Jack she never looked more precious and beautiful. He hugged her tight and rubbed her back soothingly.

"Janet, I'm so sorry.." He kissed her on the forehead and rocked her gently. He looked down at her, and wiped the tears away.

Terri knew she shouldn't have been so mean to Jack, but he was just as mean to her first. She heard Larry come in, but didn't move. "I should never have told you. Now everyone's mad at everyone else, everyone feels bad about something, and it's all my fault. I ruined a perfectly good friendship. No, it wasn't even "a" friendship, it was everyone's friendship. I totally screwed things up this time Larry." She looked up at him ready to burst into tears. "What am I going to do now? How can I fix this? What's going to happen next?"

"She hates me," Janet whimpered, curling herself into Jack's arms. "My own best friend hates me." She burst into tears; deep, wet, uncontrollable sobs that wracked her entire body.

"Janet...oh, sweetheart," he murmured softly, his breath light against her ear. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I'll talk to them both, all right? It's going to be okay, love. It's going to be okay. Nobody's going to hurt you while I'm around. Ever. You're all right, my love."

"You're wonderful...but it doesn't change the fact that my best friend thinks I'm a slut."

Terri knew she shouldn't have been so mean to Jack, but he was just as mean to her first. She heard Larry come in, but didn't move. "I should never have told you. Now everyone's mad at everyone else, everyone feels bad about something, and it's all my fault. I ruined a perfectly good friendship. No, it wasn't even "a" friendship, it was everyone's friendship. I totally screwed things up this time Larry." She looked up at him ready to burst into tears. "What am I going to do now? How can I fix this? What's going to happen next?"
Zack saw Larry & Terri together and became furious

Zack saw Larry & Terri together and became furious

"Come on, I'll take you back to the apartment, ok? Then I'll go talk to Larry and Terri. It's going to be ok sweetie." He kissed her on the cheek and walked with her back to the apartment.

Since I posted with Zack and you wanted it to be Larry and Terri to fall in love,I decided for Zack to run away and never come back

Ok, that's a good idea. At least we know that Zack didn't disappear or anything unannouced.

"Honey..Terri doesn't think that of you. Trust me, she's your best friend. She never said that." He nodded, trying to make her feel better - but it didn't do much good. He sighed and hugged her tightly again, stroking her hair.

"Come on, I'll take you back to the apartment, ok? Then I'll go talk to Larry and Terri. It's going to be ok sweetie." He kissed her on the cheek and walked with her back to the apartment.

True to word, Jack walked her back to the apartment, kissing her softly before leaving. "Don't worry, baby. I'll take care of them."

Janet couldn't help grining despite it all. "You sound like you're working for the mob." Squealing, she easily wriggled out of his grasp. "Uh-uh. Yoou've got 'to take care of it, remember'?"

He smiled, but grumbled a bit, not wanting to leave her. He made his way back upstairs again, taking a deep breath. He didn't know what to do, since he pretty much left a mark on Larry and Terri. They were probably shocked and scared to death, which made him feel guilty a lot. They probably wouldn't forgive him either, and he didn't blame them.

Before he could knock on the door, Larry opened it. There was a long silence, and Jack looked down at the ground, not knowing what to say. Finally Larry spoke up softly, and pointed inside the house. "Um..you want to talk or something?" Jack nodded, and they both entered the apartment. Jack ran a hand through his hair and sat down on the couch as Larry sat down beside him.

"Listen, Larry. I'm really sorry that I pushed you around like that. I had no reason to do that.." Larry cut him off. "Jack, it's ok. I'm glad you did that. I know now that you and Janet are serious about this."

Terri heard people talking and peeked through the door to hear Jack. I don't believe he actually came back. She said to herself trying to keep quiet, so that she wouldn't give herself away.

Once they were done talking, they gave each other a hug, and Jack was glad that Larry forgave him. Now his next target was Terri. But he knew this would be even harder to fix. Women don't forgive and forget that easily, unlike men. And he really hurt her to. Suddenly he heard someone's voice in the backroom, and knew it was Terri. He sighed, and got up from the couch, and patted Larry's shoulder as a thank you.

"Terri? We need to talk." He headed towards her. But he could easily see the look on her face, and he knew that she didn't really want to.

Terri was glad that Larry got his best friend back and she smiled when she saw them hug. Awww how cute. She quickly covered her mouth when she noticed that she was being too loud. Shortly after that Jack starting walking towards her and she ran to the bed, so that it wouldn't look like she was listening behind the door. Staring at the wall with her arms folded "I can't believe you came back and I can't believe that Larry actually forgave you. That just shows how kind and considerate he is compared to some people" Turns and glares at Jack.

Jack kept his eyes glued to the floor. He didn't want to look at Terri straight in the eye, because then he would only feel more guilty. Luckily, she avoided eye contact with him as she stared blankly at the wall, waiting for him to answer. He dug his hands deep into his pockets, becoming more nervous. He started to take big, deep breaths, trying to think of how to apologize to her.

"Terri..I wouldn't blame you if you never talked to me again. I had no right to go yelling at you at that. I can't tell you how sorry I am, and I know that you won't forgive me. I'm really sorry." He looked up at her, and she was still looking at the wall with her arms crossed. He sighed, knowing that she probably wouldn't speak to him ever again, and he turned around to walk out the door.

Terri's eyes stayed glued to a fixed point on the wall. With every word she got more and more angry at Jack. Just hearing his voice was irritating her. Finally she had enough. "Jack would you give it a rest already. I don't feel like talking to you right now or anyone else for that matter, so just leave me alone." She got up and slammed the door behind him.

Alone in the apartment, Janet grabbed a magazine and crawled into Jack's empty bed. Clad in one of his oversized T-shirts and her own sweatpants, she snuggled up against his pillow, idly flipping the pages but not really reading a thing. Sighing, she let her hand drift to rest on her stomach, where lay the unborn child that already had come to mean the world to her. "I love you, sweetheart," she whispered softly, hot tears trickling down her cheeks. "I love you so much. And so does your dad. This is all going to work out fine. You'll see. No matter what, you dad and I are always going to be here for you. You will always be loved...no matter what your Aunt Terri says, okay?"

With the tears falling faster now, Janet finally fel into a restless sleep.

Jack jumped at the sound of the door slamming in his face. He sighed deeply, knowing that Terri would not get over this. But he couldn't blame her, but he was still sad. Terri was his best friend, and even though they had troubles when she first moved in, he was glad that she did move in. But right then, he felt so bad and low, and wished he never yelled at her.

"I'm sorry. I'll leave you alone. Forever." He whispered as he stood right next to the door. He said it loud enough for Terri to hear. He walked over to the living room, didn't even bother to look at him. He felt so ashamed of himself. He opened the door, and walked back downstairs to the apartment. He sighed as he closed the door a little loud. Looking around, he didn't see Janet at all. He called her name, while searching the rooms. Suddenly he stopped and had to smile as he saw her wrapped up in his shirt, sleeping.

"Honey.." He whispered, sitting down on the bed. He smiled and stroked her hair, and she rolled over a few times before finally waking up to Jack's sweet and soft kiss.

"I don't need him" She mumbled to herself. "Wait, did he just say forever? No he couldn't have. Did he? Great! There I got talking to myself again." She walked out to where Larry was as a tear started to fall. "I can't believe I had a chance to fix things and i blew it. Why did I have to be so no forgiving? I don't know what to do. I can’t go and apologize to Jack he will never forgive me now... never. I just wish I could redo that whole conversation and not be so hard on him. We've been friends for a long time and we've gotten into fights before, but this one is way worse. He wouldn't even trust me. I know he was just trying to protect Janet, but that's what a friendship is based upon." She looked up to Larry "Trust right? If you don't have trust you don't have anything."

"Terri honey, it's alright." He came closer to her and hugged her tight. He thought that Jack and Janet being engaged would be so perfect. And everybody would be so happy. But he was very wrong, and everything was getting worse and worse. Everyone had to fix things straight, or their whole relationship with each other will be ruined forever.

"Look, trust me, ok? Just go down there, and apoogize. He'll understand." He patted her shoulder, and pointed to the door.

"If you really think so" He gave her a reassuring nod. She took a deep breath before knocking on the apartment door. "Here goes nothing"

Jen, wait until Kat posts. I want to have a little conversation with Jack and Janet before Terri comes in. After a few posts, they'll hear Terri knocking on the door. Ok?

"Is Terri Alden here?(Terri nods).Well I have some sad news.Your friend Zack Tripper died last night.He was in a car crash and his remains were cremated.He told me that you meant everything to him and want you have him for rememberance.He also said that even though he's furious that you never gave him a chance and hooked up with one of his friends instead,that it's alright if it makes you happy.Well,I better be going(hands her the urn).The champ is out of here

Um..I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to follow that. I mean, it just doesn't go with the story, seeing as Terri is already sad and stuff, and is about to apologize to Jack and Janet.

Janet smiled. "Now I could get used to waking up like this." But thoughts of Terri flooded her mind, and she immediately sobered. Years of friendship gone in one instant. Years of memories and fun times. "Does Terri still hate me?"

As soon as Jack saw a tear coming down her cheek, he instantly came over and hugged her tight, stroking her hair. He hated seeing Janet so sad. It just seemed like everything was getting worse and worse. He sighed, and thought how stupid he was to even think that him and Janet getting engaged would be perfect. He thought that everyone would be happy for them, but bonds were breaking.

"Janet..Terri doesn't hate you, ok? Trust me, she only hates me." He looked at her with only honesty in his eyes. He kissed her on the cheek, trying to comfort her.

Janet forced a smile. "Yeah, because people go around calling their best friends tramps all the time. That's not the way it works, Jack."

Jack sighed, pulling her closer to him. "I don't know what to say to make you smile again, love. But I feel like this is all my fault. I'm so sorry, sweetheart."

As if just thinking of the fact, Janet glanced up at him. "How - how long had you been there? What all did you hear?"

"Not much," he assured her, softly massaging her shoulders. "But I've been thinking. Things might be a little bad around here for awhile, and I don't want you around that. Undue stress isn't good for you or the baby. So...why don't we go away for awhile? We could just kinda disappear; run off and get married, and maybe honeymoon in Hawaii or something. You'd like that, wouldn't you? And maybe by them everything will cool down."

Janet grinned happily. "I'd love that. Truly. And I don't care if it's Hawaii or whatever, I just want to be with you. And, don't get me wrong, I like the idea of eloping, but wouldn't that cause more problems when we get back?" A few minutes later, she gave a small shriek. "My parents! They'll kill me!"

Jack grinned, suddenly thinking of something. He stroked her hair again, and told her straight out. "Janet..you're old enough to make your own decisions."

He kissed her on the lips, and once they both broke away, Janet suddenly smiled at him. "Hm..I guess you're right." She laid her head on his shoulder, thinking about what they would do. Running away seemed a little childish, but it was probably the best thing to do.

"How about we start packing, ok?" He caressed her cheek, and they both got up, getting out suitcases and shoving clothes into them. As soon as Jack was finished though, the doorbell rang. He told Janet to keep packing while he answered the door. But he didn't expect for Terri to be standing there.

"Oh..hi Terri.." He said it in a quiet voice.

Terri nervously looked to the floor. "Hi Jack, we've got to talk. Can I come in?" She slightly lifted her up, hoping that he wouldn't slam the door in her face.

"I'm sorry Terri, but I don't have time." He said it short and quick, not wanting Janet to come out. He knew that she would either yell in Terri's face, or cry. He didn't want neither of that to happen. He waited for her to leave, but he knew she would be asking why he was busy.

"Jack?" Both him and Terri heard Janet's voice from the bedroom. "If the airlines have flights, can we leave tonight?"

"Sure, hon."

"Where? You guys are leaving? Why on earth?" Terri's questions came out at rapid-fire speed, her voice raising with each word.

In sheer contrast, Janet's tone was steely furious, each word dripping like ice. "You're acting like you care. Funny...I had a best friend who looked a lot like you." Walking over to Jack, she snuggled into his arms, and he held her protectively. "I want to see if we can leave now."

Terri was about to ask how can he be so busy that he can't even spare one moment to talk to her, but then she heard Janet's voice. She immediately started asking a million questions with each word more frantic than the one before. Then Janet's words "You’re acting like you care" finally hit her.

With a mixture of hurt and anger in her eyes. "WHAT? I don't care?" Her words even more furious than Janet's. "Let me tell you how much I don't care. I came all the way up here to apologize and to get everything back to the way it was. And this is the thanks i get huh? Well Janet let me ask you this if I’m such a horrible friend then why did I go through all this trouble just to try and fix things up? It seems like you weren't acting like the perfect best friend either. You wouldn't even give me the chance to say anything. You were automatically assuming that I came down here to make trouble.

Janet all I ever wanted was for us to be friends again, but by the looks of things you don't even want a best friend anymore, you have Jack, and that's all that ever means to you anymore. I'm sorry I even came up here." "I'm going to kill Larry" She thought.

Wriggling out of her boyfriend's arms, Janet grabbed Terri's arm, forcing her friend to spin around. "Terri, I'm-I'm sorry. I'm sorry for the way I've been acting. I know I've been bitchy to you, too, and I'm sorry. It's probably just hormones, but that's no excuse. It was never my intention to push you out, and I hate it that you thought I was. It's...this whole thing with Jack is so new and exciting and a little bit terrifying at the same time. He's great, and i love him with every little piece of my heart, but...God, Ter, there are so many things I do with you that I could never do with him. Terri, you're my best friend, and you always will be. I need you to be in my life. No matter what, okay? Marriage or anything shouldn't change that." Placing a hand on her stomach lightly, she continued on. "We, well I don't want anybody to know yet because we haven't been together long, and I know what some of them may think. Plus, I have to break it to my parents. Terri, I'm sorry. My parents are going to kill me...I can't afford to have you angry. Please?"

With Janet's kind words Terri finally feels a little bit of relief knowing that her best friend doesn't hate her. "Oh it's ok Janet, you know I'm here whenever you need me......for anything... ever. I think you get the point." She gives a small laugh. "I know I've been kinda bitchy lately too, the only thing is that I don't have an excuse." She smiled again, but then gets serious. "I really am sorry." She leans in to hug Janet. "Can you ever forgive me?"

"You know I can."

The two women shared a hug, and Terri turned to Jack, a mock-stern expression on her face. "What's this about you taking my best friend away from me?"

"Terri, you still have your best friend." He smiled over at Janet, who smiled back at him. They all leaned in to share a big hug. Everything was going great now. Everything will be perfect, Jack thought. Suddenly though, Jack forgot that he and Janet were going to leave to get married. He bit his lower lip, not knowing what to do. His arm slipped around Janet, and he looked into her eyes with a serious look.

"Janet, do you still want to leave?"

Janet sighed, glancing at Terri. Part of her wanted Terri and Larry and RF and all her friends there, but the prospect of running off with the man she loved looked better and better with each passing minute. Plus, her parents...she knew they'd disown her once they found out about the baby. Why bring them and stress herslf out? Jack was right, it wasn't good. Biting her lip, she looked her friend directly in the eyes. "I want to go. Would you hate me forever if we did?"

Terri smiled. "No...but you better send me pictures!" Then she made a face. "On second thought, don't."

The three laughed, Jack wrapping his arms around Janet's waist from behind and kissing the top of her head. "I love you, hon. Whatever you want, baby. That's what we'll do."

"You want to keep packing honey?" Jack looked over at Janet, who slowly nodded. They both looked over at Terri, who obviously took the hint. They all hugged once again, and Jack and Janet promised that they would give everyone a proper goodbye. But they still didn't know what they were going to do about Mr. Furley. He had no idea what was going on with the baby, the engagement, the fights, and the running away. Everyone was surprised that he didn't at least stop in and visit them or fix something.

"Come on, I'll help you." He went into his room quickly, getting out his bags already. He then headed over to Janet's room and started to pack her things.

Within five minutes, they were ready to go. Janet looked up at her fiance, grinning. That's probably the fastest I've done anything related to clothes in my entire life."

"No doubt," Jack laughed, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear before kissing her on the lips. "I love you so much."

Her heart began to pound; standiing in such close proximity to him was never a good thing when she was trying to accomplish things. "Love you, too," she mumbled before his lips crushed down upon hers. Sure enough, she began to moan and whimper softly as his kisses became more fierce. "Honey, don't."

Jack smiled, pushing her slightly against the wall. "No way, love. We both know you don't want me to stop."

Sighing, Janet let herself once again succumb to his kiss. she was treading on dangerous territory, and she knew he had to stop. "Jack...oh!" She had to bite hard on her lower lip and clench her fists to keep from screaming. Pulling away from him, she tried to catch her breath. "Unless you want me to scream so loud everybody comes running, I suggest we stop."

"Let them run in as fast as they want." He grinned devilishly, but he knew that he had to stop. They were going to get married soon, and Janet already had a growing baby inside. But he wanted to kiss her and touch her so much, it hurt him not to. He sneaked in one more kiss, still making Janet melt.

She laughed, impulsively grabbing his hand. "Let's just go." Within a few moments, they had hailed a cab and were on the way to the airport, where they would have just enough time to make their flight to Hawaii, where they would marry. Actually, there was a slight layover in Indiana, so it worked out perfectly. Janet's parents could meet them at the airport, and if things went sour, they had a liable excuse to leave. "I'm scared," she found herslf admitting as they walked hand in hand to the airport gate.

"What's wrong, hon?"

"My parents are going to kill me," she whispered. Tears began to trickle down her cheeks, which she furiously tried to wipe away. "Damn."

Jack shook his head, wiping away her tears. "No they won't. I won't let them. Sweetie, it's your life, and you have a right to do what you want."

"Tell that to my dad," she mumbled.

Hours later, they had landed for an hour and a half layover in her hometown of Speedway, Indiana. She instinctively clutched his hand tightly as she spied her parents and sister coming forward.

"Hi Mr. and Mrs. Wood. Jenny."

He nodded at all of them. He hugged both Janet's mother and Jenny, and shook Mr. Wood's hand. He could tell that all of them had questioning but warming looks on their faces. But the only thing all of them were staring at was both Jack and Janet's hand entwined together. Jack looked over at Janet, who had a nervous look on her face. He started to rub her hand with his thumb in a circular motion, trying to calm her down.

"Well, we better go get our things." He spoke out after a few seconds of silence. He looked over at Janet who was still nervous about the whole thing.
