Hello all,
Was wondering if any of you noticed that, during the episode 'JJ and the Older Woman', there is a skip of sorts when Willona talks of how much trouble she went through to get Thelma her dress after Florida tells her that they can't afford it. It clocks in at around 3:52 or so. Anyone else notice this?
I haven't watched through the whole set yet obviously, but I'd like this thread to be the one where others can post about other defects and the like.

I'll check that episode again this evening to see if that happens on my set too. I did make it through the entire set already and didn't see any defects, at least nothing strong enough that made me take notice.

I wouldn't call it a DVD defect as much as transfer effect. I think they recorded it on DVD with the skip on it. Check it out... you'll see what I mean.

Okay, I just checked out the scene you described. If you mean the moment right after J.J. says "I'll shall return," yes, there looks like there's the slightest bit of bad editing at that instant where it cut from one angle to the next. Everything up to that point played pretty smoothly for me though, in case you meant there was a skip before that point.

No, it's during Willona's line when she reacts to Florida saying that they can't afford the dress. It's right there and clear as day on my copy anyway. It clocks in at around 3:52. Is my copy the only one that has this? And vashti1999, thanks for responding to this. I'm glad at least you're taking the time to do so. You're a peach!
