What is your all-time favorite episode of Family Matters and why?

I liked the one where Urkel acted like he was a clutz, and the studio audience got a nice laugh out of it.

Call me a sap, but any of the last few episodes of the series when Steve and Laura are finally engaged are my favorites. So sweet! I only wish we could've seen their wedding...

My favorite episode was when Steve finally stood up to Laura!!

my favorite was Waldo ,He might have been dumb but he had a heart of gold.And when Eddie was talking about going off to school Waldo was hurt because he knew his grades were to low to go to off to school but he did not give up he found his talent cooking and went to school for that ,I like he did not give up but followed his dream .Becky

I think my favorite episode is when Steve stands up for the kids on the playground with the gang. My Second Favorite is the 3 Part "Paris Vacation" episode because it was interesting and funny. My Worst Favorite was "Driving Carl Crazy".

I have two favorites. The first is when Carl and Lt. Mertagh had to stay on the treadmill in the police exercise room because there was a bomb. That was the funniest moment in sitcom history! Better than I Love Lucy's Veeta Vita Vegemen. LOL The second is the Christmas episode when Urkel searched all night in the dump to find and return Laura's favorite doll that had been accidently thrown away.

My all time favorite episode is when Steve takes Laura to her cheerleading competition in another state in his Isetta. After the car breaks down they stay overnight at a motel. This is where Steve finally stands up for himself despite his love for Laura. After all it was her that caused the car to break down and she was the one who overslept and missed her bus. But the moment Steve yelled at her about it was one of those great moments in television.

i have a few favorites. i love the one where
steve asks laura to marry him while stefan proposed to laura just before steve does. the end was so beautiful, i cried a little bit. another one was when laura gets mugged for her coat. steve and laura delivered a very important message about kids and guns at the end of the episode. another was when carl and laura turn into dual bruce lees and
fight off a street gang.

My all time favorite Family Matters episode was the first episode with Steve Urkel it was just the funniest show. I remember thinking to myself he needs to become a regular on this show.

My favorite epsiode of Family Matters is the two Halloween epsiodes with Stevil the dummy Steve created.

My favorite "Family Matters" episodes are

- Aunt Oona

- The Beginning of Rachel's Place

- The Episode where Harriette and Rachel's father comes back after many year (very Tearjerking)

- The One where Rachel's place got trashed by the gang and Urkel is wired when he visits the gang

- PABLO! Oh PAblo!

- The One where Steve and Laura stayed a night at the motel after the car breaks down

- The first time Steve met Myra and went on a group date with Laura and Tad

- The Cooking class episode- Loved the part when the dough came seeping out of the oven

- Another nice one was where Steve asked Tad to take Laura to the Homecoming Dance- A sign that Steve really cares about her and she ends up dancing with him at the end

- The Rumors episode- I liked how Eddie hassled Tad in the hallway

- The DRag race episode

- The Episode with the Guns in school.

- The Mystery story episode- Laura Wigglesworth and Steve "Johnny Danger" Urkel

- The Urkel Dance Debut

- The One where Steve, Eddie, and Waldo dress up as nuns

- The Disney World Episode

- STEVIL! The Dummy from Hell! Scary and Funny

- The One where Eddie dreams that he is getting married to Myrtle Urkel

- The Talk show episode

- The One where Steve and Laura saw each other NAKED!

- The First Time Steve came on as Stefan Urquelle and Bruce Lee

- The One where Steve finally proposes to Laura after keeping the ring her wanted to give her in a marriage profect episode, with is another one of my favorites!

My favorite episode is the one where steve takes Laura shopping and he accidentaly breaks her gifts and Laura takes a little trip in her head with her gaurdian angel to see what life would be like without steve in it. Then at the end they end up leting Steve stay with them over night because he didn't have anyone to stay with. This is a really nice ep and it really shows how much they really cared for Steve despite him being such a nusence at times.

I also liked the episode where Myra transfers into Steve's school. My favorite part is his reciting of the poem "When father carves the Duck," complete with hand motions.

My favorites were:

-When Steve proposes to Laura.
-The Disney World Episodes.
-The one when Steve goes to the dump to get Lauras doll Emily Back.
-The one where Steve goes into Space

my favorite episodes of "Family Matters" are the ones where Steve isn't the star, just background. for example - episodes 1-11 of the first season (especially "the quilt").
the rest of the 1st season was OK, too. but after that, it was hard to find good episodes, because Urkel became the star...

anyway, I love the episode where Rachel & Harriette's father comes back, and the one where Laura fights for black history lessons and finds out about the racism.

I LOVE the episode "whose kid is it anyway". it's the halloween episode of the 4th season, where Eddie promises Richie to take him trick-or-treating but breakes his promise.
the only episode I like where Steve is the star, is the Xmas episode of the 2nd season.

Well first of all, the reason why there isn't a "most hated episodes" subject is because we're fans of Family Matters thick and thin and enjoyed more episodes than not.

And I think someone already mentioned this one, but that Christmas episode that featured "Steve Winslow" and "Laura Urkel" was awesome. That was my fav xmas episode. And the Halloween one where the Winslows are all vampires--that one was great, too!

I also like the Christmas one. It was really funny and really sweet too. But one of the ones I remember best is when Laura & Aunt Rachel read Steve's story about a killer. It's done in that 40's style. Those ones stand out, but there are others I really like that I can't recall right now.

I liked when Urkel, Carl, and Mr. Looney got trapped in a bomb shelter.

I liked the one where Myra had got that camera on Urkels Glasses and was spying on him after they broke up(That was a 2 parter i believe)

I like the Halloween episode with Steve and Carl afraid of the dummy dolls. The dolls run after them and they scream like a couple of Banshees! I like when the dolls dance. That episode is such a hoot! :dance:

I simply CANNOT choose a favorite episode! Though, I like the one about Mr. Loonéi, and he comes out and goes "you'll never take me alive, copper!", lol, that one's pretty funny. But as I said, I CANNOT choose a favorite.
