I'm trying to think of what my life would be like if I had never found SO and I came to a conlusion. I'd be 10 pounds lighter, more active, not be into such good music/ movies.

Frankly I couldn't live without SO. SO has been my life for a year and a half now, and I need it.

Anyone else need SO to keep there lives interesting?

I probaly wouldn't come online as much.Besides checking my email which is always junk mail,and never anything useful,I dont go anywhere else online.But since finding SO,i cant get off the bloody computer ;)

SO is a good portion of my "internet life."

At this point it is like an old friend, a comfort zone.
I surf all around, but I always come back to SO like a home base.

If it was gone I think I would find myself on the internet less.
Things on the web wouldn't be the same.

Of course, my real life would not be affected.

Well, I'd probably be wasting my time on something else. It's not a big part of my life or anything. I don't have any friends here either. I just come here when there's nothing else to do.

It wouldn't make that much difference in my life. I would just find something else to do.

I come here a lot, but it doesn't mean it's my life. That would be really pathetic. So yes, I could picture my life without SO.

I wouldn't have an outlet to complain. I wouldn't know how many other people are as lost and depressed as myself. I wouldn't have met my best friends.

I find that to me, SO is addicting. When I get home from a few weeks out of town, and hardly being on the computer during that time, SO is the first thing I go on. I know if it weren't for SO, I wouldn't be on the computer as much.

I would have probably been even more depressed than I am now. The one thing in the world I hate is being lonely and I don't have any real friends I can count on. So it's nice to talk to people and undwind at the end of the day even thought I'm not like really buddy-buddy with anyone here. This site is also a good ranting tool. :lol:

No, I can't picture my life without SO. It's been one of my favorite message board sience November 2003.

I would have a total of five or six friends. Jacki, Nigel, Megan, Nancy, Tricia... basically just Jacki and Nigel and anyone I happened to meet on Livejournal. Wait, I wouldn't have a Livejournal, if it weren't for seeing Amy's and wanting one, and Crystal giving me the code.

Two years ago, I would've said I would "die." LOL. But now, I say I can be pretty well off without it. I may not even miss the site...perhaps a few people, but that's just me.
