View Full Version : Can You Picture Your Life Without SO?
The Modfather 02-14-2005, 08:47 AM I'm trying to think of what my life would be like if I had never found SO and I came to a conlusion. I'd be 10 pounds lighter, more active, not be into such good music/ movies.
Frankly I couldn't live without SO. SO has been my life for a year and a half now, and I need it.
Anyone else need SO to keep there lives interesting?
peter may 02-14-2005, 10:13 AM erm pretty much the same, it a website??

Belair 02-14-2005, 01:45 PM I probaly wouldn't come online as much.Besides checking my email which is always junk mail, and never anything useful,I dont go anywhere else online. But since finding SO,i cant get off the bloody computer ;)
Janice 02-14-2005, 01:54 PM I'm considering filing a lawsuit against TJ for creating this addictive site.
:D
Mr. Television 02-14-2005, 02:00 PM I've tried to stay away from here but I just can't do it. Their is a force that seems to bring everyone back here.
dlemond 02-14-2005, 02:14 PM SO is a good portion of my "internet life."
At this point it is like an old friend, a comfort zone.
I surf all around, but I always come back to SO like a home base.
If it was gone I think I would find myself on the internet less.
Things on the web wouldn't be the same.
Of course, my real life would not be affected.
Kay Scarpetta 02-14-2005, 03:07 PM I'd be... lost?
Georgia's on my Mind 02-14-2005, 03:09 PM nothing is forever, you can't be dependent on constants.
Chad22 02-14-2005, 03:12 PM Hmmm...
*Chad is shown sitting Outside On Park Bench looking happy and Wearing Hat as Girls flock around Him and A Bird Lands On His hand as he smiles.*
Nope.
ur2sexy4me27 02-14-2005, 03:16 PM Well, I'd probably be wasting my time on something else. It's not a big part of my life or anything. I don't have any friends here either. I just come here when there's nothing else to do.
Mijada 02-14-2005, 05:11 PM It wouldn't make that much difference in my life. I would just find something else to do.
x3 Taylor x3 02-14-2005, 05:14 PM I come here a lot, but it doesn't mean it's my life. That would be really pathetic. So yes, I could picture my life without SO.
bandito 02-14-2005, 05:16 PM I like S.O but if it were gone it wouldn't really make that much of a difference to me.
Fleet 02-14-2005, 05:38 PM I'm considering filing a lawsuit against TJ for creating this addictive site.
:D
Okay, and I'll be a witness. I'll even take the witness stand. ;)
(And you can bribe me with chocolate.)
dawsongirl 02-14-2005, 07:07 PM I wouldn't have an outlet to complain. I wouldn't know how many other people are as lost and depressed as myself. I wouldn't have met my best friends.
EmoJoe 02-14-2005, 07:35 PM Basically the same..I mean i like SO but if it wasnt created my life wouldnt change too much
Cactus Jack 02-14-2005, 07:37 PM I couldnt I dont think people on here actually have good taste in movies/music and stuff I love it here!
phoebe7165 02-14-2005, 07:45 PM I find that to me, SO is addicting. When I get home from a few weeks out of town, and hardly being on the computer during that time, SO is the first thing I go on. I know if it weren't for SO, I wouldn't be on the computer as much.
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 02-14-2005, 08:23 PM I'd be less miserable...but more bored.
No, because I like posting on the chit-chat board.
TheGreatPretender 02-14-2005, 08:35 PM I would have probably been even more depressed than I am now. The one thing in the world I hate is being lonely and I don't have any real friends I can count on. So it's nice to talk to people and undwind at the end of the day even thought I'm not like really buddy-buddy with anyone here. This site is also a good ranting tool.

Nope.
I picture my life the same way, only the bird would be my loyal pet falcon who does my bidding.
And his name will be Ulysses.
I don't know what I would be doing if I never had Sitcoms Online. I probably wouldn't be writing as much or not at all.

And I shall remain:
Dutabi84 02-14-2005, 09:16 PM Can you picture life without oxygen? I didn't think so.
Superstar 02-15-2005, 07:15 AM My life would be empty without it
G-Force Glockstar 02-15-2005, 07:20 AM No, I can't picture my life without SO. It's been one of my favorite message board sience November 2003.
-*Forever*- 02-15-2005, 09:17 AM I would have a total of five or six friends. Jacki, Nigel, Megan, Nancy, Tricia... basically just Jacki and Nigel and anyone I happened to meet on Livejournal. Wait, I wouldn't have a Livejournal, if it weren't for seeing Amy's and wanting one, and Crystal giving me the code.
Yeah, I'd have no friends.
ABlairican Pie 02-15-2005, 09:22 AM There would be no place where I could give people my illustrious history of rock and roll. You'd have to be content with the History of Polka.
:(
Shelley 02-15-2005, 02:06 PM I like SO, but it is only a part of my time online. I would find other sites to go if I don't come here.
Hollow 02-15-2005, 02:08 PM Hmmm...

Nope.
Warm & Fuzzy 02-17-2005, 08:52 AM Two years ago, I would've said I would "die." LOL. But now, I say I can be pretty well off without it. I may not even miss the site...perhaps a few people, but that's just me.
