In the U.K., most shows run about 6 episodes a season. 6 episodes! The Munsters 70 episodes and 2 Seasons, is the equivelant of about 11 Seasons in the U.K. That's a big boost from 2 to 11!

I wouldn't like it if a season only ran 6 episodes. Thats to short. Back when The Munsters ran 30 episodes a season was the norm.

Too bad the original series didn't last longer. I heard that the cast (Fred, Yvonne, Al...) all signed on for 7 seasons, which means instead of ending in 1966, they should have ran until 1971.

Can you imagine The Munsters in the '70s? I bet Herman would have sideburns and Grandpa would have a big goatee or something weird. :crazy:
