AT LEAST in 1991, SHE MADE HER REAL TV COMEBACK WITH STEP BY STEP Bricolo 07-09-2006, 12:09 PM She's the Sheriff was tons better than Step by Step. Pavan 07-09-2006, 12:16 PM I've seen only two episodes of She's the Sheriff. I don't think it is better than Step by Step. I would however like to see the episode of She's the Sheriff with Don Knotts and Jenilee Harrison! Brian Damage 07-09-2006, 12:33 PM She's the Sheriff was pretty bad. It was NBC's attempt to start primetime early by putting on sitcoms starting at 7:30 pm. Needless to say, it failed big time. Mr. Television 07-09-2006, 02:28 PM Suzanne had a hard time getting on network tv in the 80's so she used this show as a stepping stone to better things. I think she just wanted to be in the public eye again. I used to watch it and I didn't think it was to bad. It's probably a middle of the road sitcom. I have heard Suzanne talk about the show and she hates it. Pavan 07-09-2006, 03:24 PM She's the Sheriff was pretty bad. It was NBC's attempt to start primetime early by putting on sitcoms starting at 7:30 pm. Needless to say, it failed big time. I don't think it was NBC's property. It was a first-run syndicated sitcom. TVFactFan 07-09-2006, 03:55 PM I've seen only two episodes of She's the Sheriff. I don't think it is better than Step by Step. I would however like to see the episode of She's the Sheriff with Don Knotts and Jenilee Harrison! WHAT?????????? Now thanks to you Pav I will have to add those eps on my want list. Damm-lol Pavan 07-09-2006, 03:59 PM Yeah, Knotts and Harrison both appeared in the first season finale titled "Hair." So, Don Knotts appeared on both of Suzanne's post-TC series. TV Land should have aired that episode rather than Call Me Madam...that was a terrible and boring episode. TVFactFan 07-09-2006, 04:01 PM Yeah, Knotts and Harrison both appeared in the first season finale titled "Hair." So, Don Knotts appeared on both of Suzanne's post-TC series. This was a syndicated show right? Not on Primetime Pavan 07-09-2006, 04:02 PM Yeah, a first-run syndicated sitcom, like What's Happening Now!!, Charles in Charge (seasons 2-5), Small Wonder, etc. Pavan 07-09-2006, 04:13 PM There was also an episode where greedy Alan Hamel guest starred. TVFactFan 07-09-2006, 04:39 PM There was also an episode where greedy Alan Hamel guest starred. Damm. I would love to see Jenilee and Suzanne in the Same scene gilligan fanatic 07-09-2006, 07:09 PM Call Me Madam was the one I saw, I kept thinking, she was upset for being called a hooker and now she is impersonating one. I know they are different shows and different characters but you get what I am saying Scoobiedoo30 07-10-2006, 01:00 AM She The Shiff was First Run Syndication on Sunday Night's at 10:35 pm on WVUE TV Channel 8 TMC 08-26-2017, 05:52 AM Yeah, Knotts and Harrison both appeared in the first season finale titled "Hair." So, Don Knotts appeared on both of Suzanne's post-TC series. TV Land should have aired that episode rather than Call Me Madam...that was a terrible and boring episode. Suzanne from my understanding, wrote in her book that Jenilee was really nervous walking on the set and immediately began to apologize to Suzanne. But Suzanne told her she had nothing to apologize about. Edward216 12-25-2018, 06:14 AM I hate anything Suzanne Summers is in. I think she's a terrible actress. Ed. TVFactFan 12-25-2018, 02:35 PM I hate anything Suzanne Summers is in. I think she's a terrible actress. Ed. And I hate anything you post because you are a terrible poster TMC 03-01-2019, 05:24 AM Why would She's the Sheriff be considered a "punishment" for Suzanne Somers? Sure, the show wasn't well received critically (I think that in 2002, TV Guide named it as one of the 50 worst television shows ever aired), but she finally got to work on-screen again following her roughly 7 year long blacklisting. If anything, getting in effect, blacklisted due to contract dispute on Three's Company was punishment enough. |
