Okay, my idea of naming what other members contribute to SO didn't work out so well, so scratch that.

What do you contribute, or do best at SO? This is not the time to be shy. Toss modesty aside, and toot your own horn.

As moderator, I try to keep the peace and maintain its PG-13 rating. I deal with member issues. I'm always here to assist members with board issues. As many of you know, my door is always open, so to speak.

I make a point of welcoming new members.

Beyond my moderating duties, I try to add a little humor when I can. I try to create interesting threads. Sometimes I do, and sometimes they fall to page 2 in half a day.

I try to post articles of that I think will be of interest to members.

I try to never forget anyone's birthday. :)

I doubt that I contribute anything of importance to SO.

That's great Brian, but it's much more than that. You contribute a great deal to the Cheers, sports, movie boards, Chit Chat, and other boards that you frequent. You also help keep this moderator (somewhat) sane by being a good listener via e:mail. :)
