I like scottish terriers a lot. But, I'm not much of a dog person. I prefer cats. I like that they can actually be trained to go to a litter box. And, you never have to worry about cats biting the letter carriers. :cat: journey1978 02-12-2005, 03:42 PM i'm a cat person Superstar 02-12-2005, 03:46 PM I like both alot robyrob 02-12-2005, 03:54 PM i'm a cat person, but some of my cats are dog people, and my dog is a stuffed teddybear person. Hollow 02-12-2005, 05:11 PM cats are only about a thousand times better. Belair 02-12-2005, 05:20 PM I prefer dogs.Cats are cute, but they scratch and get moody, while dogs are more playful.Plus cats roam the streets, dogs will sleep on your bed,and stay there ;) Hollow 02-12-2005, 05:22 PM I prefer dogs.Cats are cute, but they scratch and get moody, while dogs are more playful.Plus cats roam the streets, dogs will sleep on your bed,and stay there ;) DOGS ROAM THE STREETS 2. EmoJoe 02-12-2005, 07:06 PM Dogs by far *Pleasant Tomorrow* 02-12-2005, 07:22 PM I'm a dog person, but I still like kitties snl75 02-12-2005, 07:30 PM cats. i have 2 of them TheHappyBurgerMeister 02-12-2005, 09:31 PM I love both! If I had to go with which one is better for a pet, definitely cats! They're SOOO much easier to take care of than a dog. Although I do love dogs. I just have one cat for a pet. Brent88 02-12-2005, 10:14 PM I used to be a dog person... then in 2001, I got a kitten. Have had it ever since. It's now about approaching 4 years old, weighs about 9 lbs, and is solid gray. Stays indoors all the time. I love it, it's lazy, but that doesn't bother me too much. About 6 weeks ago, we got a Black Lab/Border Collie mix puppy, it's been nothing but trouble. I've about had it with that stupid dog! It's now EIGHTEEN pounds and will eventually be more than 70 lbs. It's primarily indoors right now(the cat has slapped it several times), but I don't know for how much longer... Kay Scarpetta 02-12-2005, 11:02 PM Little dogs are okay, but I despise big dogs. In 5th grade a pitbull attacked my face, and ever since then I've been petrified. But anyway, cats forever. They're so fun. Especially my Chloe. I keep mine indoors, and she's a very clean cat. She sleeps on top of me everynight. AND MY CAT SLEEPS NEXT TO ME ON MY BED EVERY NIGHT. Dogs roam the streets because their dumbass owners don't keep track of them. Where I live, there is a $135 fine for the 1st offense for an "animal at large". I've always had pets since I was a kid, a couple cats but mostly dogs. Cats are great because they're so low-maintenance, but dogs show unconditional love and aren't judgemental, like so many humans. Whenever I would come home from work in not a very good mood, my dogs always made me feel better with their personalities. Sometimes my dogs are a handful. Put it this way, I would never take all 3 of them to the vet together, but I wouldn't trade them for anything!! *Pleasant Tomorrow* 02-13-2005, 12:23 AM Dogs roam the streets because their dumbass owners don't keep track of them. Everything leads back to the people. I love dogs so much more than people. phoebe7165 02-13-2005, 12:27 AM omggg *squeezes* those are the cutest things ever... Oops! My bad. I meant to quote safetypin about the photo of her kitty by the toothbrush, not idol fanatic. dawsongirl 02-13-2005, 03:25 AM Neither. I've always thought cats were inanely evil. Except the one in my av. They can be so adorable! dawsongirl 02-13-2005, 03:30 AM Dogs roam the streets because their dumbass owners don't keep track of them. Where I live, there is a $135 fine for the 1st offense for an "animal at large". My bastard neighbors let their black lab roam around in other people's yards. Now excuse me, but I don't exactly think it's fair that I, a person who is scared of big dogs like that, can't go out in my own yard because those asses let their goddamn dog run all over. How am I supposed to know whether that dog will bite me or not?! Plus he makes the lab next door bark like crazy, keeping everyone awake. |
