What happened to Rachel? Please let me know thanks!

After the 4th season of "Family Matters", Telma Hopkins (who played Rachel) left the show and went on to play the leading role in a new series called "Getting by". She didn't appear in any of the episods in the 5th season of "Family Matters", but in the 6th season she came back for a couple of episodes and played Rachel. And I think she also made a guest appearence in one of the last episodes of the last season, I'm pretty sure it was "Deck the Malls".
