Hi! This is my first post in the Murphy Brown section!

I was wondering about the episode 'Set Me Free.' This was the seventh episode aired, but it seems like it should've been the second. In it, Murphy says she's been out of Betty Ford for a month, which is what she said in the first episode. But by the time this show aired, she would've been out for two months.

And she's really craving a cigarette. It seems like that craving wouldn't be as strong after eight weeks out of rehab, but would still be strong after just a month.

Does anyone know if they aired this show out of sequence, and why?

Yes, episode seven was produced 2nd - the first episode produced after the pilot.
