The New Life

After their parents are killed in a car accident, they are sent to live with their rich and yuppie socialite relatives. Breanna "Bree" Philipps (Kaley Cuoco), 17, Ashley Philipps (Brie Larsen), 15, and Kathryn "Katie" Philipps (Morgan York), 11, must leave their Minneapolis home to move in with their rich relatives in Beverly Hills. The Philipps girls' relatives include: their wise-cracking aunt Pam Kenzington (Megan Mullaly), their workaholic uncle Rick Kenzington (Ted McGinley), and their precious yet spoiled 11-year-old cousin Emily Kenzington (Dakota Fanning). Pam Kenzington's sister, Julie is the Philipps girls' mom. Bree, Ashley, and Katie must adjust from their normal lives in Minneapolis (where they worked for things) to their not-so-normal lives in Beverly Hills (where they just get things for doing nothing). The Kenzingtons have a butler named Charles, a maid named Pilar, a nanny named Natalie, and a cook named Marianne. The Philipps try to convince their socialite relatives to "ease up" on "the help" at least a little bit.
