You can now vote to get Wings on DVD through amazon.com. It is very easy, just go to the link then enter your email. Also, I called Paramount and they said that they don't have the DVD distributing rights for Wings. Although it was filmed on a paramount studio, NBC has the rights to release it on DVD.

You actually just enter your email in the right hand top box. It request that amazon.com notify you when it becomes released but they tally the request so it will be helpful to get as many request as possible.
Paramont directed me to www.imdb.com which shows who has the distributing rights. You have to hit the professional details tab.

Done. The last time I told Amazon I wanted something on DVD, I heard back from them only a few months later.
Let's hope it works this time!

Thanks, I didn't know that's how you voted :)
Ahhh I see, you must have talked to someone who doesn't know much about the show. I remember someone who posted here last year that said Paramount told her that the show was coming out on DVD, but yet it hasn't. So she was lied too.
Paramount does own the rights, and IMDb.com is not a very reliable site, anyone can enter any information whether it's real or false

I remembering hearing that Wings was going to be released too. That's why I called Paramount. I'm a huge fan. I called about three different times and was told the same thing by all the customer service reps. Here is the phone number if any one else wants to check it out. If it is true then all those petitions out there may be in vain. Thanks for submitting your email through amazon.com!

It's funny how one season wonders get DVD sets, but stuff like Wings sit in the salt mines.

Don't forget all those current shows that have only been on for 1-3 seasons. What happens when they hit syndication? Would people still bother watching the cut episodes on TV when they can just watch the whole episode (and more) on DVD?
