View Full Version : Lohan back in hospital
*MIBabe03* 02-11-2005, 04:15 PM Lohan Back in Hospital
Teen actress Lindsay Lohan is struggling to stay healthy after another trip to the hospital with chest pains. The pretty Mean Girls redhead was admitted to hospital last autumn with severe exhaustion and spent a week recovering, and now it looks like her busy schedule and her family problems are upsetting her health again. Lohan, who is in the middle of a family feud as her mother Dina and father Michael fight a bitter divorce battle, was given sinus and chest X-rays due to a bout of bronchitis on the set of her new movie Just My Luck, where the busy actress has been putting in 17-hour days. The 18-year-old star's publicist confirms, "Lindsay has been under the weather."
Superstar 02-11-2005, 04:20 PM I thought her new movie was called Lucky.....
Anyways, I cant say that I'm surprised and frankly I'm having a hard time feeling sorry for her if she's suffering from exhaustion again. I am a big fan of hers and I hope she's better soon but she should expect this if she takes on so many movies and other work
Belair 02-11-2005, 04:45 PM I hope she gets well soon.
dawsongirl 02-11-2005, 05:30 PM Do us all a favor Lindsay...TAKE A BREAK. Being Superwoman isn't gonna prove a damn thing...it just makes you look like an idiot.

I know. Seriously, I don't hate her...she's just doing too much at once and if all of that isn't showing her anything, she has less than half a brain. The poor kid is going to die of exhaustion or something.
MissZero 02-11-2005, 07:31 PM Never was a fan, but I feel bad for her. I think she should place her health and family priorities first. And stop working the 17 hour days....I hope she gets well soon and learns to put her own well-being before work.
x3 Taylor x3 02-11-2005, 08:07 PM Screw her. She's not a good actress, singer or anything else.
TheGreatPretender 02-11-2005, 08:37 PM :(
I hope she is ok. Some people can't deal with stress that well.
Miss Lohan -
Lay off the booze (you're too young to be drinking anyway, and I don't give a crap if you're a celebrity) stop dancing on the banquettes, and get some sleep kid.
You're not going to learn how to act by club hopping until dawn.
They'll be plenty of time to party when you're older.
;)
musicradio77 02-11-2005, 11:40 PM Get well soon, Lindsay!:(
*MIBabe03* 02-12-2005, 01:23 PM If she is having "chest pains" maybe it's not only stress and exhaustion. She could be suffering from anxiety. I had chest pains during severe anxiety attacks.
Superstar 02-12-2005, 03:42 PM Well I wish her the best and I hope she's better soon....
Dean Winchester 02-12-2005, 04:05 PM can't say I'm a fan at all... but at least I like that Lindsay has stolen the throne from Hilary. I was tired of media shoving Hilary down our throats when nobody over 14 cares about her... at least people over that age have seen Freaky Friday and Mean Girls.
Janet McFarland 02-12-2005, 06:17 PM She's doing way too many things at once. I mean, I don't know, nowadays everyone has a hard time sticking with one thing, if it's being an actress, singer, designer, etc. Stop the madness. I hope she gets better though.
felicitylen 02-15-2005, 12:10 AM I think her problem is she is trying to hang with the big boys and girls but she can't handle it. I hope that she gets well and realizes that she should just slow down and stop rushing things.
Mr. Stefani 02-15-2005, 01:07 AM see i dont get how shes so "exhausted" when she was home for a week 2 weeks ago(home as in with her mom and sibblings here in Long Island...).
Mr. Stefani 02-15-2005, 08:38 AM Miss Lohan -

Actually, the way I see it she gets away with more. It's 21 to drink in New York, yet Miss Lohan has no problem getting a drink at whatever club she shows up at.
Sure, you can party and live it up if you're a young celebrity, but do you want to be a respected young star, like say Natalie Portman who shied away from the party circuit while growing up, or a laughing stock like Tara Ried, who will never live down her drunken party girl image.

NEW YORK (AP) - Are you a Lohan girl, living in a Lohan world?
Lindsay Lohan, the red-haired "Mean Girls" star, is getting the Barbie treatment with a new doll made in her likeness. The doll is dressed in full red-carpet splendor, wearing a beige dress and a faux fur-trimmed coat.
The Mattel doll comes complete with a director's chair and her very own velvet rope, the company announced recently. Part of the toy maker's "My Scene" line, the Lohan doll is due out in June and will retail for about $30.
The first peek at the Lohan doll will come at the annual American International Toy Fair, which starts Sunday in New York and concludes Feb. 23. in "Freaky Friday" and recently finished shooting "Herbie: Fully Loaded," an update of the Disney story about a plucky Volkswagen Beetle.

I'm 17 and drink in bars/clubs in new york. its nothing im saying to be proud of, but i don't why she get so much crap when it's not uncommon. and she's 18, she can go into the clubs legally. doesn't mean shes drinking. its not like shes going to sit at home and knitt. but from what i know she barely even drinks. she likes her weed but thats another story(i saw a picture of her smokin a blunt the other day lol).

She finally gets out of her Disney contract and then goes and lets them make her into a doll. I don't get her.

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Michael Lohan, father of "Mean Girls" star Lindsay Lohan, has been arrested yet again.
The 44-year-old was driving through the Long Island town of Syosset just after midnight on Saturday, Feb. 19 when he swerved off the road and struck a utility pole, reports the AP. After Lohan scrambled from the vehicle, it burst into flames.
Lohan was arrested shortly afterward Saturday morning and was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving without a license.
As if his many scrapes with the law weren't enough, this particular episode won't help his claims that he has overcome his substance abuse problems.
He was ordered in December to under go drug and alcohol treatment and therapy after pleading guilty to several charges, including assaulting his brother-in-law with a shoe at his son's communion party. In September, he pleaded guilty to assaulting a sanitation worker and was ordered to attend anger management classes.
Besides the 2004 teen comedy "Mean Girls," Lindsay Lohan's other film credits include "The Parent Trap," "Freaky Friday" and "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen." She recently released her debut album, "Speak," and is currently filming "Just My Luck" in New Orleans. Her latest Disney remake, "Herbie: Fully Loaded," will open nationwide in June.
Somebody really should throw a net over Mr. Lohan.

Janice 02-24-2005, 10:43 AM Papers Allege Lohan's Dad's Death Threat
NEW YORK (AP) - The father of teen movie star Lindsay Lohan threatened to kill his estranged wife and children, according to allegations in divorce papers.
"O.J. Simpson has nothing on me," Michael Lohan allegedly told the family's security guard last year. "I know exactly how I'm going to kill (them). I know when I'm going to do it, and I'm going to enjoy it."
Divorce papers were filed last month by the 18-year-old star's mother, Dina Lohan, and allegations in them were published in Thursday's edition of the New York Daily News. Dina Lohan is seeking full custody of the couple's children, alimony and $1 million in damages.
According to the papers, Michael Lohan invoked the name of Simpson, the former football star acquitted of murder in the slayings of his ex-wife and her companion in 1994.
The documents also describe several instances in which Lohan, 44, allegedly beat his wife.
Michael Lohan's attorney, Dominic Barbara, did not return calls to the News seeking comment. Lindsay Lohan is the star of such films as "Parent Trap,""Mean Girls,""Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" and "Freaky Friday."
Dean Winchester 02-24-2005, 12:28 PM I wish media would get off this. Lindsay Lohan is as much a nobody as Paris Hilton is when you come to think about it... people who are media-made celebrities. Plus, I really don't think the "I'm only 18 but I party and drink" image is all that cute myself. I mean, my niece is 18 and her dad still shields her so much, when I feel like showing my brother Lindsay Lohan and the Olsen Twins and he'd realize he has nothing to worry about with his daughter compared to those.
Georgia's on my Mind 02-24-2005, 04:51 PM partying and drinking and the whole club scene really isn't that bad...people need to see the real worldddd

I'm with you. I mean, until the media got ahold of her, Lindsay was not a huge star by any means. She was just some little freckle-faced kid actor. And how the Olsen Twins survived past FH is a mystery to me.

Lohan Strikes Back at Father in Interview
NEW YORK (AP) - Lindsay Lohan says her father has no right to claim a share of her earnings.
"He didn't do anything for my career except go out and not come home at night," the 18-year-old actress-singer tells W magazine in its April issue, on newsstands Friday. "So I don't think he deserves anything. He doesn't even deserve my respect."
Michael Lohan's estranged wife, Dina, filed divorce papers in January. Lohan responded, saying he wants half of the 15 percent his daughter allegedly gives her mother - a figure that could be $6 million to $7 million a year, his lawyer has said.
Lohan has also said he wants to do a reality TV show that would follow the family through the course of the divorce.
"As sick as it sounds, a reality show might help, actually," Lindsay Lohan told the magazine. "At least then people could get the truth."
Michael Lohan was arrested last month after a fiery car crash in the Long Island town of Syosset and was charged with driving while intoxicated. In December, he pleaded guilty to several charges, including assaulting a brother-in-law at a communion party, and was ordered into drug and alcohol treatment and therapy.
Lohan, 44, has said his headline-grabbing problems have helped - not hurt - his daughter's career.
In the magazine interview, Lindsay Lohan also weighed in on two issues much discussed in the tabloids - her rapid physical maturity and her party-girl reputation.
"I'm young and I only got my boobs, like a year and a half ago, so of course they're going to look good. I love 'em," she said.
Of her "dancing-on-tables" reputation, Lohan said, "I go to clubs and everything, and if I hang out with Paris Hilton, I don't think that's a bad thing. She's a nice girl."
