Have you ever noticed that the show Dinosaurs is a rip-off of Family Matters?
The dad appears to be dressed and modeled after Carl, and the son looks and acts exactly like Eddie! There's also a gandmother...and it just seems like they tried to copy Family Matters. Is it made by the same people?

hmm..I always thought that the Dinosaurs was a rip-off of the Simpsons, but maybe you're a little right. But then, who would be Urkel's rip-off?

It's been over a decade since I last watched "Dinosaurs", it hasn't been on Swedish TV since the mid-90s, but I still remember it rather well. (Actually, while writing this post, I realised I remembered it too well. I really don't have a life.) And yeah, I can agree that Robbie (the son on "Dinosaurs") was a lot like Eddy, and there might have been some similarities between Charlene (the daughter on "Dinosaurs") and Laura, and maybe there were some similarities between the grandmothers on both shows. But I really can't see how Earl and Fran (the parents on "Dinosaurs") were that much like Carl and Harriette. And the baby on "Dinosaurs" had no real counterpart on "Family Matters" (unless maybe if you count little Richie), and yeah, who was Steve's counterpart on "Dinosaurs"? And the shows weren't that much alike really. So I can't say "Dinosaurs" is a rip-off of "Family Matters".

But I think Eddy and Robbie were just both typical teenage boys, and Laura and Charlene were both typical teenage girls, and Estelle and Ethel were both typical grandmothers. I rather think they followed stereotypes than ripped off a previous show. And besides, Earl was more stupid than Carl, and Fran wasn't as sassy as Harriette.

Congrats!
Anyway, yes. I remember Dinosaurs very well. I haven't seen itr since it was on TV in the 90's. And the dinosaurs also lived a normal life, it was just that they were dinosaurs instead, isn't that right? And the Winslow was also a normal family.
