I see that Chris Noth is joining the cast as Crimanal Intent?! That should be interesting! If anything I would have probably put him in as a replacement for Lenny on Trial by Jury but since I haven't seen that show that position is probably beneath him. Ha Ha. The rating for Crimainal Intent must be low, there episodes haven't been very stimulating.

I read awhile back that Vincent D'onofrio was having fainting spells--even landing in the hospital--and therefore being considered even more difficult than usual. Supposedly it was decided to bring Chris on as a guest with the possibility that, if they had to fire Vincent, Chris would take his place. I can't find it right now, but on Yahoo News yesterday there was an article describing how unrealistically the plot of Chris's first appearance is set up--sounds pretty "far out" LOL!

Interesting! I heard about his fainting spells but I thought it was due to exhaustion. Quite frankly his character hasn't been as off the wall as in earlier episodes. Any who I'll wait and see on sunday how this plays out. :)

Well, what did ya think? I have always thought Goren to be "off the wall", no change there LOL! And I think "far out" does describe the story after all.
I read that the fainting spells were related to exhaustion, yes--but I guess the exhaustion is being seen as a symptom of his outrageous perfectionism, which is wearing on everyone.

I thought that episode was very scary. It was kinda interesting to see Goren's cool psychological mind pitted against Logan's hotheadedness. OMG Logan has gotten worse. I do remember he was a bit of a hot head, after all it wound him up in Staten Island, but he has gotten more bitter about life these days. I dunno if Logan would really fit in the CI world....
I do like the way Goren out psyched the guards at the end, that kept me on the edge of my seat.... and the it was interesting to see Logan's face while Goren was working his magic. Of all the L&O spinnoffs I didn't seem to get into this one, but this week's episode was really good. I was glad to see Logan control himself at the end, and mention that it wasn't worth staying in Staten Island beating up the ring leader guard.
I wonder how long Vincent D'onofrio will be able to hang in there if he is having personal problems... he is good at playing this type of character.

The Law and Order show are not violent but I was kind of waiting for Logan to pound that ringleader guard! I was on the edge of my seat when they were in that prison! I agree this Law and Order series has been week on the storylines compared to the others. SVU right now is burning up!!! There stories are very involved!!! I read the Logan will be joining the cast next season of CI. That should be interesting?!

North is back next season as well. D'Onofrio and Noth will do 11 episodes each.

I did some research..... Both NBC and USA are owned by the same parent company... NBC Universal. I suppose that is why! (Gee you think! LOL  )
