After the death of their mom Alexa "Alex" Johnson (Kaley Cuoco) 17, and Alyssa "Lyssa" Johnson (Kelsey Lynn Batelann)10, move in to Alexas best friend Alanna (Masiela Lusha) and her mom Ava Cortez (Constance Marie) who live in a apartment in Los Angeles. The apartment has three bedrooms but only one bathroom. How will they get along? Especially Ava who now has to raise 3 girls, 2 of whom are boy crazy and the other who is just becoming a preteen.
By the way so this makes more sense the Johns dad died 8 years before their mom died and the Cortez dad abandoned them after Alanna was born.
