I know this is somewhat of an odd topic, but am I the only one who noticed how Steph's hair went from Shirley Temple-like curls to stick-straight throughout the series? Was the crew trying to make a statement there or what?!

I wondered that too. Those curls were adorable! Maybe they thought they looked too "little girl' for her and the straight hair looked more "pre-teen"

I've always noticed that. I wonder if her hair was naturally curly and they decided to straighten it on day, or it's naturally straight and she had it curled every day to look like that!

The last time she had it curley in the series was the last episode of the 3rd season. th rest of the series after that it was straight. From what I understand it was ment as a part of a trend in the 80's where girls would wear there hair curly like that and when the 90's hit that trend died. Im not really sure though. I was the same age as the Olsens at the time so I cant really teel you except from what ive heard.

I'm guessing it's naturally straight and they curled it. Sometimes it wasn't just curly (as in the photo above), it was teased almost frizzy. She was cute, but the hair didn't look natural. I say her hair is straight.

You can tell just by looking at it that it's not naturally curly. You can tell those curls are done by a curling iron and the curls she had later on were a perm.

Jodie's hair has curls in the first 3 seasons. The 4th and 8th seasons has striaght hair.

I'm pretty sure her hair is naturally straight...This is the most recent picture I could find of her.
