Does anybody ever remember watching any of Nancy Walker's sitcoms called Blansky's Beauties or The Nancy Walker Show? I was too young to know that they were even on. I don't think they lasted very long at long. I think Blansky's Beauties was supposed to a spin-off of Laverne and Shirley???? I read that Nancy Walker owned a dancing group or something and Carmine from L&S made a few appearances. They were probably trying to pull in an audience.

Yes, Nancy Walker had the "Jewish mother" thing down cold. She wasn't even Jewish in real life, and neither is Valerie Harper, which totally shocked me!! :lol: I also remember Nancy Walker as Rosie in the Bounty (?) paper towel commercials when I was a kid.

That was the only motion picture she directed. Gee, I wonder why?? :lol:

I enjoyed Nancy Walker playing Rhoda's mom too. But if she had been my mom, I would have moved to the opposite coast.
