I remember that I've heard the song back in the early 90's that MC Hammer, one of the artist sang a rap version of "The Addams Family" entitled "Addams Groove". That song sounds kinda weird nowadays. Sometimes they used a snippet of the opening theme song. I always love that song. It came out somewhere around 1992 or something.

I LOVED the film! The FiRST one, the sequel was disappointing. I loved MC Hammer's song--even more, I loved the music video that was also used as a movie trailer--where MC sang and danced with the cast of the film--there was a bit where he gave Morticia that famous Gomez French kiss-up-the-arm! There were quite a few trailers--one where the famous finger snapping bit, with the cast sitting in a theater, and snapping--and Thing snapping, too. After the film debuted, they adjusted it, to say "The Critics give the Addams Family Two Snaps Up..." Maybe Siscal and Ebert did that!
There was also a funny trailer, for Wayne's World, with Dana Carvey and Mike Myers sitting upon the Addams' "stone bench" couch in the "cemetary" snapping their fingers, and singing.."Dah, dah dah..*snap, snap*, Dah, dah dah..*snap, snap*, ...." "Bet you thought it was the Addams Family! But we wanted you to see Wayne's World!..."
I was hoping that a definitive CD of the film would include what was clipped--a longer version of the Mamushka dance, and every one of the trailers. including the Wayne's World one.
