My wife and I have started watching Raymond for the last three weeks. Some good episodes. I REALLY enjoy Frank's curmudgeon-ness and his banter with his sons. It's prolly the reason I watch the show, and it's something my wife enjoys watching.

My question is this (forgive me if this has been asked before): Why the hell is Debra such a mega-b*tch? She's always screaming at Raymond. Just total, total over-the-top, yelling. Every show. Now getting irritated with Raymond (no I don't love mouth breathing Raymond :rolleyes: ) is to be expected but am I missing the funny stuff here? I find it more disturbing than funny.

Anyone? Has this been a common complaint?

Yeah, this issue has been addressed several times. Personally, I feel that Debra has a very justifiable reason to be the way she is. Who wouldn't be, dealing with Ray and his crazy family?

We always talk about what a witch she is..lol!
I think she has gotten better.
