LOL... well they saved Sunday Nights, I wouldn't say they saved the whole network. ABC needs a complete overhaul of Thursday Night, but that's a different discussion. From TV Guide Online:

WEALTHY WISTERIANS: ABC has rewarded the four stars of Desperate Housewives — Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman and Eva Longoria — with $250,000 bonuses as a thank-you for saving the network, USA Today reports. Supporting players Nicollette Sheridan and James Denton also received significant "gifts," while the rest of the cast got a coupon for a free dish of ice cream at Disneyland's Main Street Cone Shop.

Considering that last season ABC finished below FOX in 4th place, I'd say they along with Lost have helped turn ABC around. They all deserve those bonuses too.

They defintely deserve the bonuses... I mean they are starring in ABC's first hit drama in how many years? Too many to count.

Thursday nights will be better soon. You can't fix everything at once.

ABC will probably still finish 4th this season again. American Idol is doing better every week than any ABC show.

FOX is still a distant 4th in total viewers. ABC is 2nd.

Among adults 18-49, is a toss-up. FOX can take #1 in that, then ABC, CBS and NBC will battle for 2nd. But no way ABC will finish 4th overall.

I didn't reserach it, but looking at this last week's top shows, ABC had only three shows in the top 20. American Idol was the #1 and #2 show of the week. CBS dominated the top 10 with CSI being #3 for the week as well as placed 9 shows in the top 20. NBC placed 4 shows in the top 20 while Fox placed two (AI being #1 and #2). DH was a repeat last week so its totals are low.

Lost was a rerun too that week. As was EM: HE One week is not a lot for a season, especially when half that week was reruns. FOX still is 4th place overall. NBC is 3rd. ABC is 2nd. Look at the ratings for this current week when they come out on Tuesday, you will see who is strong (CBS and ABC). FOX only lives on AI.

And as for 18-49, FOX will probably only win that thanks to the Super Bowl.
