2)In one of "Empty Nest's" last three episodes, Harry notices that Rose has been taking the wrong medicine for awhile and that it's the main cause of Rose's being an idiot/dumbbleep/whatever.

Sophia's maiden name is not Spirelli. Guido Spirelli was the guy she married before Sal, as discovered by Dorothy in a Season 7 episode.

Also, I seriously doubt Rose appeared in a final season Empty Nest episode.

yeah, aside from Sophia, none of the Golden Girls appeared in Empty Nest it's last 3 seasons, after their show ended. In fact, even after Sophia joined I don't think the events of The Golden Palace were ever even referred to.

First of all, thanks for the corrections. According to the "Empty Nest" episode guide at www.tvtome.com, Betty White appeared in episode #90 ("Dr. Weston and Mr. Hyde") of "E.N.", which was most likely when harry told Rose about the wrong pills screwing up her mind.
