How would you feel if I wrote a trilogy of stories that crossed IDOJ over with the "Star Wars" series of motion pictures?

Sure, why not?

I'm doing a Stargate SG-1/IDoJ Crossover why not Star Wars? (Reviews from both fan bases tell me it's working, too!)

All that I can say at this point in time is that the trilogy will be titled "Jeannie And the Star Warriors" and that in the first story, there will be a shocking revelation about Genies/Djinns that you will just not believe, and Jeannie and her sister Jeanie have some action with lightsabers. Also, parts two and three will be very dark and tragic, and I will do something to one of the main characters that might get me condemned by all IDOJ fans, but what the heck?

Unfortunately, I cannot commence any serious writing until "Star Wars: Episode 3 - Revenge of the Sith" is released.

I of course have seen Episodes IV thru VI, but I didn't bother with I and II. Since III leads into "A New Hope," I'm looking forward to it.

My Crossover is similar, you said, "there will be a shocking revelation about Genies/Djinns that you will just not believe."

If you know SG-1 at all, I'm having Jeannie's "people" be direct descendants of the Ancients who remained after Atlantis "left." They migrated over the centuries and millenia, ending up in NW Europe and Britain/Ireland (thus O'Neill and Sheppard have Ancient genes from inter-breeding.)

The "magical" things Jeannie and her people do are via "the Gifts" which they receive, handed down generation to generation, when they reach the age of maturity. A ring, a hairpiece (she always has that little ponytail hairpiece, doesn't she?), a necklace, they can look like almost anything.

O'Neill has her Gifts in a box at Stargate Command (so they can be studied, she had brought them willingly) and he can activate them. Jeannie freaks. She said only someone in HER FAMILY can do it, so he's related to Jeannie in some way! (This portion of the story is going on right now, in my latest story in the series, "The Gifts (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2355877/1/)".)

BUT, not to worry IDOJ fans, if anyone's reading this... she's not merely a descendant of the Ancients (the race that built the Stargate network)... there's something else... I've given little clues throughout the story, when I've actually got T&J in it (so far, it's mostly been Roger cuz it IS a Stargate story, and he's at Stargate Command).

All of this is coming to a head soon.

This isn't called "The Gifts" merely because of her Ancient devices she uses for "magic" either. The story starts out on August 30, 2004, and it's Roger's birthday (Bill Daily's too, strangely enough). He receives the greatest gifts of his life that day. So it's his gifts AND her Gifts that make the title.

Sorry about going on so long. I'm just excited, this is going to be the best yet in the Endeavour Series. A LOT of personal relationship happening with Roger and Samantha, and Tony and Jeannie (T&J just had their first REAL fight...and Jeannie's pregnant.) And believe it or not, some real science-fiction too (Roger pilots the BC-303 to Titan, Saturn's largest moon, where they're going to investigate something unusual.)

The main timeline changes I made were in IDOJ; Roger and Tony are fifty in 2004, and shuttle astronauts. T&J just got married (22 AUG 2004). Those are the only major (heh) differences.

On the Stargate side, there is no Jack/Samantha potential relationship like in the series, and Samantha's father, Jacob, is still alive (sadly, he dies in the series).

Not too many changes on either side, really.

16 Mar to 02 Aug 2004 "Endeavour to Stargate Command" (Jeannie goes missing on 16 March and they rescue her on 02 August, on another planet)

06 Aug to 17 Aug 2004 "Major Healey's Personal Log" (Roger's in training at SGC, these are his thoughts on it. Some narrative as well.)

18 Aug to 23 Aug 2004 "Cocoa Beach" (R&S return to Cocoa Beach; Roger 'resigns', and T&J get married.)

24 Aug to 29 Aug 2004 "Major Healey's Personal Log" (Completed here, he finishes training and is assigned as Second-in-Command of SG-9.)

30 Aug to 06 Sep 2004 "The Gifts" (In progress, I'm ending August 31 right now in Chapter 18.) A LOT happens in this one! Begins with Roger's birthday, ends with a Labor Day BBQ at the General's and something else.

07 Sep 2004 to 01 May 2005 Series Finale. Future story.

Other than the timeline adjustments, I think I've done an excellent job keeping them all in character. If you read any of these, PLEASE let me know what you think! Most of my reviews are from the Stargate fans, I always welcome reviews and comments from the IDOJ fans as well.
