Anyone ever have moments when you have done something really really stupid? I had PLENTY and one of them was today. I was going to eat lunch and they had hot dogs and I started pouring what I thought was ketchup on mine and this boy I know came up to me and said "That's really smart..you do realize that is hot sauce right?" And then I turned the bottle around and realized there was a huge label on the bottle that said Hot Sauce. :lol:

My life is a collage of idiotic moments. Whenever I do something well, I always ruin it by making some stupid mistake. I'm cursed.

No because the idiots that come into my work make me feel like a freakin genious!
for example:

This one guy came into my work a couple days ago and I asked him if he needed help and he said he needed a battery for his flashlight that's a bit different he said it has an X on it and I had no clue what he was talking about, it turns out he was talking about the plus sign on the end @@ good lord it's amazing that people like that can walk and talk at the same time. I had to explain to him that that plus sign tells you which way to put the battery in.

this guy isn't very old either he's in his 50's tops.

How about walking over to the market, doing all the grocery shopping and as your walking home realize your fly is open.

i know i got a 91 in math (due to extra credit my mom made me do), 90 something in Language Arts, 100 in Spanish, and like 88 in science. something like that. i got a 97 on my midterm math.

I do stupid stuff like that constantly, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. I even **** up when I'm sleeping.

:lol: That reminds me of the time I was at the grocery store. The one I usually frequent has a self-bagging area. That day in particular, I was bagging my groceries next to this lady. She finished up and left with her items. It wasn't until a few minutes later when I was done with the bagging that I noticed the lady had forgotten one of her bags. Oops! :lol:

That wouldn't have happened if that grocery store hadn't established the self-bagging area...It's a lot more prone to happen that way. :o

They'll come and ask me where, say, the ENT clinic is. My rote speech: "Second floor, to YOUR right, end of the hallway on the right." First, if I said upstairs, they'd ask which floor...um, there's only 2, you guess. Second, I specifically say YOUR right or left. Yet they're facing me, and they go, "Your right?" Um....and yours. You come off the elevator facing the same way I am. DUH. People still get lost. :rolleyes:

Sometimes I feel like the world's most awkward person. ;)

I feel like an idiot as a matter of routine -- for instance, every time I hit the "Submit Reply" button -- but I'm also prone to isolated moments of spectacular idiocy.

I once locked myself out of my house, and the only way in was through the dog door. It was tricky -- I had to turn sideways to get my shoulders through -- but it was going OK. Then the dogs, upon hearing a strange noise, did what they always do. They ran outside, or at least they would have had there not been an obstruction in their only means of exit. I recall the sound of toenails on linoleum as they hit the laundry room in their rush to the back door. The rest is just a big, furry blur.
