Since I assume there are Gimme A Break enthusiasts on this board, I'd like to introduce ourselves. During January of 2004, we started a basketball team and couldn't figure out what to name the team. After a few weeks of pondering, we realized that it would be the one year anniversary of her passing away, God rest her soul. Therefore, we decided to name our team the Nell Carter Experience and dedicated the team to the Life of Nell Carter. We were not very good unfortunately, but we did do a "1-2-3...Gimme-a-...BREAK(whole) team break." Anyway, this year, we have retooled and formed a new team called the Nell Carter Afterlife and will continue to make sure she stays in the memories of people. If you have any suggestions on wardrobes or accessories, please let us know. As of know, we will begin wearing NCA armbands. Thank you.

You can sing like "Gimme A Break!" (Like how the vocalists did on season 3-6 of the show when you do your 1,2,3) or go "I finally know where I belong (in that southern accent of Nell's, then...Gimme A Break (like the vocalists)!" or something like that... Maybe "Won't let em' get the best of me!" would be a good line to sing in Nell's southern accent.
