His name is Matthew Laborteaux. No idea about what he's up to now, though.

Matthew Laborteaux is real life adopted brother of Patrick Laborteaux who played Andrew Garvey.

Also Melissa Gilbert is real life adopted sister of Jonathan Gilbert who played Willie Olsen, also they have a real life adopted sister Sarah Gilbert who played on Roseanne as Darelene Conner.

Also 2 sets of twins were used one set played carrie Ingalls Lindsey and Sidney Greenbush and Wendi and Bredna Turnbaugh who played Grace ingalls.

And I think the actor you are thinking about is Patrick Laborteaux(who played Andrew Garvey on the show) not Matthew Laborteaux(who played Albert). But it doesn't matter anyway because the guy on the site who posts the messages is not Patrick Laborteaux(what you were thinking, maybe?) but Patrick Loubatiere , a French journalist who apparently wrote a book about Little House on The Prairie and will answer your questions on the boards.
