On tvtome.com I saw that they filmed a version of I do Adeiu where the wedding actually goes off to hide Shelly Long's departure from the public. Hopefully, they'll include this as an extra in the season 5 set when it comes out.

If they include this with the Season 5 DVD I will be ecstatic. I would love to see this.

Mhmm. I believe they did that so absolutely no one (including the live studio audience) knew how the episode was going to turn out when it aired on TV. If they included that as a feature on the season 5 DVD I would be beyond happy considering thats all I ever wanted Sam and Diane to do.. to get married.

That would be awesome, but considering Paramounts history with the bonus material on the Cheers sets, it seems unlikely. Still, one can always hope.

Had Paramount given us special features on Season 4.... I may have expected it.

But seeing that they didn't, I doubt it will happen.

It's not as if they were against archival extras -- they had the bloopers on Season 2.

"Cheers" and "Frasier" were jipped in the extra feature department... :(

I waited so many months to finally see "Frasier" and it had nothing extra...not even the infamous "celebrity calls" feature!

I haven't gotten the "Cheers" dvd yet. I will...I'm still missing Season 1, sadly.

I doubt they will, just like I doubt they'll ever show the spot the Cheers gang did for US bonds.
