This show must have been very hip for 1961. I really enjoy its campyness,
and its definitely is a classic show.

I first got into this show in the early 90s when it was on Nick@Nite, and
I was just a lad of 12. I was instantly hooked ! Im a horse lover, and this one of my all time favorite shows ever. Just so dang funny. I wonder if it ever
won an Emmy.

That is a really sweet picture. Come on, you can admit it.

.... Whore? This is a tv show about a man, his wife and a horse and you're bringing the word "whore" into the damn theme song? I know there are men who love that word but come on. And you asked me if I was drunk. I should ask you a question. But I think I'll leave it. ;)

 I'm sure you don't stutter so yeah, as you can see.. you did say whore. Ohhh, so that's why you just used the word "whore" and not "horse" ?

 Oh well. Here's the lyrics I was talking about.

A horse is a horse, of course, of course,
And no one can talk to a horse of course
That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mr. Ed.

Go right to the source and ask the horse
He'll give you the answer that you'll endorse.
He's always on a steady course.
Talk to Mr. Ed.

People yakkity yak a streak and waste your time of day
But Mister Ed will never speak unless he has something to say.

A horse is a horse, of course, of course,
And this one'll talk 'til his voice is hoarse.
You never heard of a talking horse?

Well listen to this.

I am Mister Ed.
